    Stan and Ollie

Yeah, probably could be misinterpreted! But seriously I do have these kind of ideas that one day I'll have time to watch these when I have plenty of time. It's a kind of delayed pleasure - I even avoid the Simpsons now so I can bank unseen episodes. Madness I know but even semi-retired I don't...

    Stan and Ollie

Yes the box sets of Laurel and Hardy would be on my wish list for viewing when I'm old, infirm and housebound. Probably with all the Simpsons, Mash and Frazier episodes. Hmm bit disappointed that I haven't included any British comedy box sets.

    Things that annoy you

Yes agree. Mind you I remember most of the sci-fi visions (e.g. Logan's Run) of the future look remarkably like present day shopping malls to me. All shiny chrome, escalators, transparent lifts, people talking into communicators, automatic doors, aerodynamic cars etc. Amazing how fast things are...

As George Best said when asked about where he spent all his money, "booze, birds and fast cars, the rest I wasted".

    The sopranos (again)

Confess not seen The Wire or Sopranos. Tried The Wire but couldn't get past the expletive-laden mumbling. The sound quality seemed terrible. Will give it another go as it so highly rated.

    London stabbings...

Of course, but was just puzzled as to why the media seemed not to pick up on it straightaway and he was painted as some innocent angel.

    Stan and Ollie

Loved Laurel and Hardy because they were more than just slapstick.

...increase in migrants across the Channel.

Yes Nick, I was once involved in running a course funded by the job centre to support job seekers in updating their skills to improve their job prospects. One day I found a document left in the photocopier by one of the clients - it was a benefit statement. I was absolutely flabbergasted when I...

    Buyagift - experience day

Up until recently Tesco vouchers could be quadrupled and used in Prezzo, Pizza Express etc, so a tenner's worth got you £40 to spend. They've now reduced it to triple value so still worth having - I get petrol from a Tesco garage so accumulate points fairly quickly. I find a lot of pubs do great...

Hmm might have to think about this one. I'll get back to you with some questions later.

    Things that annoy you

Agree, never seen a single episode but the endless trailers seem to reinforce the view that Londoners are the most miserable and unfriendly bastards in the country.

    SBT Veggie Society

Wondering whether vegans will be ok with eggs now that male eggs can be identified early and excluded from the usual horror of male chicks being suffocated or minced alive. This means that eventually hens can be produced cruelty free for egg production. Similarly this is why dairy is...

    Death List 2019

Still alive I think. Saw a very moving show over Christmas with him being interviewed by Bob Monkhouse (just before he died) with MY talking about his fall from stardom. Seemed like a really nice bloke. Sure he was in a panto in Cov when I was a kid.

    New Year Resolutions ?

Get the Well Man check. Typically like most blokes don't get myself screened but finding a lot of mates and family getting hit with prostate cancer, high blood pressure etc and other killers of men around my age so made an appointment.

Could've even watch this, far too upsetting. Probably going to be a lot of this after Christmas as puppies are seen as toys by plenty of morons out there. Can't bear cruelty to animals, once pushed a guy in the river who was throwing stones at a swan. Had to leg it as I'm not really a fighter!

    strange things that happen

Sorry Otis classic coincidence cherry picking. Did your mothers do the same job? Are there any other siblings and do they match? Obviously I could come up with an infinite number of variables which won't be significant. And what about other previous girlfriends, did they all come from Volgograd...
