Wtf are you on about ?

You undermined your own argument saying we don't sign multi million pound strikers to sit on the bench, when we had our club record signing, literally sat on the bench!!!

You're not very bright are you.
Fella there's a big difference between starting on bench because you only joined a club officially 2 days before the game and being on the bench for an extended period of time.

I thought that Simms seemed reluctant to shoot in the first half. Wright's cameo showed what a player he can be. Godden was disappointing. Thomas was a beast and will be a star in the defence. The midfield was overun too often.
It’s a tough one with the midfield. Leicester certainly had a lot of quality in there, and with Ricardo coming into midfield gave them an overload. Think we did well considering.

True, but we won't be playing teams like Leicester very often.
The frustrating thing is that we had the chances to win today, but as I said last week, we are not ready for the season to start yet, we need another week or 2 ideally.

Regardless of the reasons for it, the fact is the big money signing DID start on the bench.

Not for long though, he showed enough in his brief time to show he's a handful.

You're right, clubs like ours usually buy multi million pound forwards to warm the bench.

This forums getting dumber by the minute.
Comedy gold!!!

Nearly 12million pounds worth of talent literally sat on our bench.

You couldn't make it up.

Iheanacho not exactly the liveliest of players but did a job. Dewsbury-Hall very good player too.

If they lose both, Leicester will not finish top two. That defence will let them down this season.

Disappointed but not downhearted.
Both sides looked good, and in all honesty the result could have gone either way.
Better finishing at 1-0 (we certainly had the chances), and we could have gone 2-0 up, and i think we would have killed the game then.
Some encouraging performances from Da Silva, Thomas, Hamer, Palmer and Wright....positives to take to our next match, which i think we will win.

Godden's movement was terrific but he should have put two of his chances away for sure. We were very good and well organised. We deserved at least a draw. Their winner came from some sloppy work at the back. However taking Hamer off when he did sent alarm bells ringing for me. You want to win so he stays on. Overall a good start regardless of result. We will be a strong side this season in the title hunt.
