If the biggest joke on this bulletin board calls me an stupid I will take that as a compliment.
Still waiting for the 5 likes on your post.

Bit harsh on your mate Tony arent you, I mean you run him close. Still at least you will take him calling you stupid as a compliment, so its not all bad. ;)

Dont worry Tony has opened his crackers early and should hopefully be along with another joke shortly!

Denial, as word play instead of The Nile..........Jim Bowen would have been proud. ;)

I think he is more of a Jim Davidson.

It's not playing dumb is it. Can you find me the announcement on the ccfc page announcing where our permanent move was to? As it wasn't, it was temporary until anything was announced.

The sixfields thing was temporary wasn't it? I said at the time I'd go as it was temporary and wouldn't if it wasn't. No hindsight involved.

I keep reading tim Fisher is a liar and bullshitter but suddenly his bullshit should be believed?

Nothing was announced ever as permanent.

Why is it not consistent? I wouldn't go if we moved full time, I wouldn't go if a football club moved full time here. If barcelona moved here full time I wouldn't go.

If wasps was temporary then I'd have a different view, as would others I bet.
I said announcement, not hidden away meeting minutes from a bloke everybody slates for being full of shit.

Announcement would be like the one announcing the temporary move.

So who else from CCFC was going to announce it? It wasn't just "hidden" away either, it was all over the media. I'm surprised you missed it.

Perhaps you didn't, perhaps you were going regardless of what was said. You certainly seem to have selective hearing on the matter and be keen on moving your goal posts of excuses. Why don't you just man up and admit that you were going regardless. I could at least respect that instead of this charade of lame excuses you keep weaving.

Haven't moved any goal posts? It was the same at the time? I said show me the announcement.

It would be announced the same as the move was? There wasn't one, it was temporary.

I don't think I'd need to make up an excuse to somebody who would rather discuss wasps than talk about a football match and hardly goes to games themselves anyway and doesn't bother talking about football on here.

Especially when I said the same before, during and after the move.

You are getting annoying, I'd suggest you take a look around at the football threads before you confirm yourself as a wum.

You said you wouldn't have gone if they were moving the club permanently out the City. I have proved that they said exactly that. A quick google and bang there it was in a minuted SCG meeting which get posted on the clubs website once agreed by the club itself. TF was pretty open about it, it wasn't hidden anywhere. I've just found an interview in the CT with TF from May 2013 where he confirmed that we were never going back to the City, we were ground sharing for 3 years and then building outside of the City. It's laughable that you originally made out it wasn't even said and then you move the goal posts by saying it wasn't officially on the clubs website and then after I proved it was you move the goal posts again by saying it wasn't an official announcement.

It's pretty clear that you were going regardless and it's pretty clear that for whatever reason you won't admit that.

No, I said where was the announcement. Like the one announcing we had left. Not some comment posturing from a bloke everybody goes mad about because he is a bullshitter.

Maybe people should question their judgement if they believe everything Tim Fisher says.

I have never made out he didn't come out with comments like that, I made out there wasn't an official announcement because there wasn't one.

Not sure who's winding up who here.
If you can't accept the CCFC board announcing via a board meeting what can you believe.

Threads always go off topic once you bring in other information to back up your argument.

This thread OP in particular is a wind up on attendances, where people who were not there can just post that the attendances were lower than published. Those that were there are then blasted for being there.

So was there an announcement then or just meeting minutes? I asked for a link to the announcement on the official that it was permanent, I didn't say can you show me somebody say it. There wasn't an actual announcement was there? It was always dubbed as permanent and if people are hanging on Tim Fishers every word as the gospel truth then I guess they should be having a look in the mirror before throwing around the SISU lover line. I was going by the official statements and updates, ie is it officially temporary, is it officially permanent. It was officially temporary, that is a fact isn't it?

Justification for my arguments? I think your argument was out of the window after you were slating locals who went to our games in Northampton but then got in line for your Wasps tickets because you can walk to it.

Don't you think Sisu are taking the pi55 out of us by saying they will be building a new stadium but not actually doing anything about it ?
Another problem you have is with people who initially supported Sisu at takeover, as still supporting Sisu but also saying they don't. Confusing again.
Who is throwing the Sisu lover around ? Confusing again.
Never slated locals or CCFC fans. Where do you get this from?

This board is a joke. half a dozen are slagging anybody off that has an alternative view and you must see this in the statistics.
How about doing something positive and use it to move things on.
This may mean working with all parties including Wasps but any mention of them will derail a thread.

Like Tony I am wasting my time on this board but still enjoy feeding in my opinion as it winds up the bigoted six.

Wasps are unlikely to look favourably on an extension as my information suggests that financially they are worse off and that the bad publicity around CCFC/SISU is having a detrimental effect on sponsors etc. Mark my words.

But hey get 6 fiddles out and play some music while CCFC spontaneously combusts.

They didn't move the club permanently out of the city did they? We are back n the city playing at the Ricoh.

However much you want to protest and claim we were never coming back to Cov the simple truth is no location for a new ground was ever announced, the move was temporary and we are back in the city.

Land Rover Stadium, Scoop. Wrong.

Hatred of Wasps isnt down to it being a franchise. There are some fo us who hate them all MK, Blaze, Wasps et al, but you choose to ignore this, as it pisses on the fire of your arguement.

You claimed to know the facts of the takeover deal. You were asked several times to porvide them. All bull as usual.

I expect you will come out with some wordy diatribe to disprovve, but lets face it you know as much as the rest of us, its just you want to push their agenda as it lines your pockets, and if the Ricoh was say over Eastern Green way and Wasps moved in you would be up in arms, as you are the classic hypocrite.

Still dont stop your blind defence of Tony that he isnt a wum, when he has admitted he is, as it gives us all a good laugh.

Are you special? Where are the bigoted 6? Is it a joke because everybody doesn't agree with you? If you are so special and everything is just common sense and you know everything like you keep going on about, why weren't you agreeing with the people who were wary of SISU when they came in? A couple from memory who were very vocal about it were NW and LordSummerIsle, now they could be classed as SISU Lovers.

Again, where are the threads you have started about SISU that have been removed? IF there are none why haven't you started some if that is what you want to talk about? What is stopping you?

My issue is some people who go from one extreme to the other. They start off loving SISU and having a go at anybody who says otherwise, they then move to hating them and anybody who doesn't is a SISU lover.

You said you would have been too ashamed to admit going to a CCFC game if you were a local in Northampton for a start....

What is a joke is people who come on here and don't bother to talk about football.

You can hate Wasps/Franchising as much as you like but don't let it cloud your judgement on whats best for CCFC.
Renting the Ricoh may not be ideal but it may just be the best CCFC can hope for. My concern is that as Wasps establish themselves CCFC may become an irritation and my sources suggest that they are not cost effective and also bad publicity is effecting sponsorship. Yes it is from a source who can't tell me everything but to me it is a risk that again Sisu are taking that may backfire.

Nick didn't know that when he made his decision to attend. It's also true to say the same of those of us who chose not to attend. We all made our decision based on the information available at the time. I'm not disputing that for one minute.

What I am disputing is Nick's claim that we had never officially left Coventry for good. I've proved otherwise through not only interviews in the media but also the official minutes from an SCG meeting that would have been posted on the clubs website. Nick keeps moving the goal posts, with selected hearing, temporary blindness and what an official statement actually means. Next he'll be asking for the oath that TF signed in his own blood at the rate of goal post moving he's doing before he'll accept that it was the clubs official line that we had not only left the Ricoh that we were never returning to Coventry.

None of us had the benefit of hindsight when making the decision to or not to attend Sixfields that is not in dispute. My issue isn't even that Nick attended Sixfields, that's done, I'm over it. My issue is that Nick is claiming he decided to go because the move out of Coventry was only ever sold to us as a temporary move out of Coventry, which is of course BS as I've shown him time and time again. Why he won't grow a pair and admit he went regardless is beyond me. Like I said, at you could respect someone for that. Non of us knew for sure what was going to happen next. I made my decision based on what I wanted to happen next i.e. we return home sharpish. So I didn't go based on what we were told at the time. Nick is claiming that he made his decision to attend on the same basis, only he's in denial of the fact's.

That is an official announcement, it says it is temporary. The FL agreed to a temporary move.

Find me one the same afterwards saying we were never coming back, not words from a bloke who everybody slates as a bullshitter.

I obviously did know it was temporary, as I was saying it at the time that at that moment it was temporary.

Minutes from a meeting isn't an official club statement is it? Can you really not see the difference?

I went on the basis it was temporary, it was never confirmed as permanent. If you don't like it, deal with it.

You keep giving it the moral high ground about not going, but you hardly go to games anyway? I might start saying I have boycotted Selfridges Makeup Department because they test on animals, when really I haven't actually bought anything from there. Still a hero though.

You are confusing me with other posters, as I dont let my dislike of Wasps cloud my judgement on whats best for CCFC.

This is a Wasps foum on the CCFC, and I clearly dont like Wasps and what they stand for. It isnt CCFC related, but I would not want our football club to be owned or run, by a group who are inherently similar to SISU.

You are an advocate of time will tell, which I agree with, but I dont share the rosy outlook. Re the renaming of the stadium it will happen but I disgaree and dont think it will be Land Rover. I also feel they are currently struggling to find someone to commit to the sponsorship which highlights the fact that they arent such a big deal that they think they are. If I am proved wrong, I will be happy to hold my hands up.

I think with time Wasps will struggle, attendances will fall, as we already seeing with the novelty begining to wane with the Coventry/surrounding areas public. Couple this with an area with local teams, that have loyal embedded fans it isnt going to get better.

RE Wasps establishing themseleves, what does this mean...being here for a set time? as apart from that they dont seem to be growing in the city, conversely interest in them seems to be falling. I know a few people who have been, they wont go again, the one game novelty has been done and dusted, move on nothing to see here. Sounds a bit like Wycombe.

Re CCFC being an irritation, I cant see Richardson and Eastwood, who seem to hold cash as dear as SISU do, wanting to rid themselves of a money producing tenant at a time when they havent got the major ground sponsor they thought would be in their pocket, attendances and other associated revenues are falling, and they have committed to a costly bond scheme, which like any debt eventually has to be paid back.

I suspect the bond scheme could potentially ruin them, or at least leave them on a very unsound footing. Couple this with the football team doing well, and them not wanting the bad PR by going against the club, then I cant see what the worry about CCFC is.

Knowing RUGBY fairly well, I cant see anything but a huge Wasps fail, and your ascertain that CCFC arent cost effective, seems actually more relevant to that Rugby team who seem to love. CCFC bring in revenue that Wasps need, so I really cant understand your contstant doom mongering about how Wasps feel about them. From what I hear, its Wasps you should be worrying about more.

Does it say we are moving out of Coventry then? That doesn't state it as fact does it?

If you were WUMming somebody else you would probably have been banned by now. I'd suggest that was well as showing an interest in anybody saying anything against Wasps, you also start to post about football.

It says the Coventry area repeatedly. That is not Coventry. The move was only ever sold as never returning to Coventry. That was the official line right up until we returned home into Coventry.

We don't want SISU to pull the plug as with no buyer we will not exist as a club.

Several years old that one. How come you never dated it ?
Next you'll be bringing up posts from people happy that Sisu saved us from administration as posting as if it was yesterday.
Digging up posts before Sisu went AWOL is Sunday Sport Journalism.
Argument lost when you need to do that and also a little sad !!

I prefer the Sisu that bought us.
They went AWOL when we were relegated into L1.

They will never be liked here again since they took us to Sixfields.
TF and Sisu need to go.
