For a match like this I'd normally be happy with an exciting score draw.
Tonight though, it would be great to extend our clean-sheet record to 7 games, and our unbeaten run to 10 games.
If Coventry score 1st (and end our clean-sheet record) I expect us to go VERY attacking to make sure we keep our unbeaten record.
Could be fun! :)

Yes could be fun and I think close. Could go either way. I bet both managers would settle for a draw right now.
If our forwards and your defence are on form it will be very interesting

I'm going with two others, paying on the gate, I think we only sold circa 400 in advance of yesterday. Depends how many decide late on but I only think 700 max midweek

That's really poor imo. Yes it's midweek, but we're top of the league. I'd be disappointed with less than a thousand.

I see your point but really? Midweek freezing cold and not been pay day for a lot of people until Friday with that last payday being the Christmas payday. 400 wouldn't be all that bad.

Top of the league is almost irrelevant as I reckon we would of got 400 if in 15th?

Well no, i would expect our league position to swell numbers compared to being 15th

My opinion is if we were 15th right now in the league we would still get the 400 who are going tonight.

And as chiefdave says also between two home games. £25 each tonight plus travel. Time off work? And payday is Friday for lots of people.

I'm just saying I can understand it.

I think that by the end of the game we'll see that McArdle has a hole in his pocket!!

Could be a bit worse than that for Bradford: we have a genuine "hole". :( . Our loanee defender Reece Burke has had to go back to West Ham with a knee injury so we'll have to rely on a bit of a makeshift centre back.

Looks a really interesting game.
We last lost a league game on 26th September (my birthday incidentally ), they last lost one the following Tuesday.

Since those defeats, we've gone 9 unbeaten, with 6 wins and 3 draws and they've gone 8 unbeaten with 6 wins and 2 draws.

Could be pretty close!

Bradford are in for a shock tonight

they haven't faced quality and pace like we have

0-3

They are a solid side, think we'll struggle to even get a draw, i'll be 'positive' and go 2-2 ( Murphy , JOB )

Matesx - Keep your eye on Kyel Reid, Greg Leigh and Jordan Bowery. I think they'll have enough quality and pace to match you! :)
SBW - Same here :D

IF, as some as their fans are spouting about, Bradford do "tear us a new one". it will be the hardest won game they will get all season.

their deluded fans' dreams are wilder than any Festa fan could have dreamt up and tomorrow they will wake up to reality..................and they STILL will not be top!!!

bit childish in here

i am sure their forum is full of people who think it will be a tough game, just like many of us can see it being hard too.

Please ignore the ramblings of the single buffoon who posted the comment you quoted. I think you should "depluralise" (if that's a word) your post.
I agree, should either team win tonight it will be the hardest won game for either this season.

i was thinking, could be a hard fought game, & then i discovered that N.Miller is tonight's ref, the only opinion i have of him is that he should not be reffing anything above sunday league football.
i hope he makes an attempt to change my mind, as i think he has something against CCFC

Just watched it. TY 4Life - Taking nothing away from Coventry but Holy **** the Gills defending was indescribably awful! :thinking about:
If we defend like that I'm gonna hide under a rock until August! :D

Unfortunately we had an almost catastrophic financial collapse when we exited the Premiership before the away end (TL Dallas Stand) was developed. :( The amenities (apparently) aren't that great in there. The stadium itself (other than that) is pretty impressive.

As far as I know you can't get a beer in the away end at half time (or any other time) and the kiosk is basic. Do correct me if I'm wrong (also photos of the amenities would be an education) if any travelling fans can post via their phones.

If it doesn't look too odd at the time, I'll try and get a few ha. If I recall correctly we have a little window to get food and beverages from, but your right, it alcohol free. Then again there wouldn't be any room for people to drink, as you'd essentially be taking a drink to your seat if you had to move from the food / drink area!

The Gills defending is terrible but the highlights obviously don't show the 30 minutes of intense pressing by our attackers and the interplay and position switching between Murphy and Armstrong. Any defence at this level would struggle to deal with the way we played first half on Saturday, lets just hope we can pull it out tonight too

Got to be better than Swindon!

Is Hanson starting then? If so, then signing Big Ben is a masterstroke - if only for this one particular game. I would have felt uneasy playing against Hanson (minus Reda / Turner), but with either in less concerned (although he'll probably score) 1-3 to the mighty Sky Blues (but I'd be happy with a point, and as we'll beat Donny on Saturday a defeat won't be the end of the world).
