Why not ask those that have. There are enough of us. And just about all of us agreed that the plot of land isn't big enough. Not you though.
It says they have identified the site, that's a long way a way from it happening...
Because it doesn't.
Reckon you could fit a new stadium onto the site. Posted this pic before but something like Millwall have wouldn't be impossible.

And are you a property developer?

Thought everyone was keen for him to keep his mouth shut? Even if he did say something like that it would just get a response of 'more BS from Fisher'.
Do you see a chance for 365 revenues or car parks? What do the residents think? What about the roads? Can they handle the traffic?
If only you were able to build something as big right next to present buildings and a railway line. Is it to the same scale?
At least if something like against planning laws CCC could be blamed.
And best of all who thinks it could and would happen.
I get the feeling that there has been a change of heart, yes. Also, it'll be interesting to see how things pan out after the JR appeal etc.
It is to scale. You can build 4.5 metres away from the track.
Grendel reminded us enough times in the past. And I quoted Grendel and another stupid post of his.
Wouldn't be quick to say he is wrong? Why was his story pulled? All I can think is he heard a whisper about Coventry Football club wanting to move at the Butts. He just got the wrong football club. Things like this will happen when trying to get scoops. But then we have people looking for excuses for him when one isn't needed and accusing another journalist of the same when he had waited for what looks like the truth.
Take it on the chin for once Grendel. Nobody can be right all the time. And you are wrong frequently enough to have admitted once at least.

And how far away from the present buildings considering the height of the build?
Plenty of football stadiums that are right next to other buildings, even housing. Again though I would have thought that was something to be looked at by architects when drawing up plans and discussed if we ever see said plans and a planning application is submitted.

Which story has been pulled??
Did they? Who?Didn't someone say that the Reid article has gone where he says we want to build on the Butts?
Wasn't really suggesting we do a carbon copy of Millwall's stadium but if you want to read about some of the things they do to raise revenue look here:
http://www.millwallcommercial.co.uk
I'm sure there will be NIMBY's who complain however the fact they've moved to an existing stadium, where permission for expansion has previously been granted, will count against them.
Being close to rail and bus terminals as well as the ring road and city centre car parks / park and ride I can't see it being any worse than HR was.
Would have thought those were things to be looking at in the unlikely event that this project moves forward and we get some detailed plans and a planning application submitted.
Did they? Who?
It is to scale. You can build 4.5 metres away from the track.
But how many new builds are like the one you are pushing?
Sure the old ones, but planning rules are stricter these days are they not?
Isn't that a railway banking behind it though? Building 4.5mtrs from the railway lines will surely mean excavating a large section of the embankment. Can you see that being allowed? I would think that the bottom of the embankment is as near as you're going to be allowed to the railway lines.
Whenever was it any different, one failed SISU scheme after another, that is what I see.
It does not matter what the current intention is till something concrete happens it is a news paper story, that is all.
.
Didn't someone say that the Reid article has gone where he says we want to build on the Butts?
Another astute fact
Fuck off you twat.
Excellent response when proved wrong.
Some people maybe think a new stadium can be built at the Butt's when it clearly can't be.Have I missed anything ?
