I really hate comments like this. Really hate them and there are several others above of a similar ilk. Call yourselves supporters. They are a football team - they tried hard - they weren't good enough. You really do need to lighten up
Don't quote me with this! I am sick of them and until the sort themselves out ill continue to be bloody sick of them

You think no one is trying?

this place gets weirder by the minute. Today was shite and there is a long list of terms that could be used to describe how they played, but “they didn’t try” is not one of them.

I don’t even think they’re half as bad as people are making out- something is rotten in there but it’s not that they’re all just rubbish.

That's what happens when you try to decide just based on stats though.
Well I didn't see him holding up well , bring others into play , create or press too much , his passing is generally poor too

He did well to chase and have the shot which the keeper saved for saka to tap in but can't think of much else

I watched the lot. I recorded a 35 second segment (cant upload videos on here for some reason) of our 'movement' when Cardiff were sat in

It was lazy, ponderosa virtually none existent. It was the bare minimum, and If that's something you class as trying then I give up

if they “didn’t try” we’d have got absolutely tonked. Ridiculous thing to be saying.

Any insights into the transfer window coming up

I thought the ref was excellent. Didn't have much prep time.
Blatant sending off. Can't smash your elbow into face. Reckless & apologised immediately
Obvious trolling aside, I actually think he done well. Didn't pander to the crowd for soft challenges after making the mistake on the red card. Only thing he got wrong after that was the Sakamoto shot which should have been a corner.

I’m gonna bite. Holding up he did fine and did hold the ball well. This isn’t me being biased this time. Pressing leaves some to be desired and passing very hit and miss. His fit colleagues have been doing no better though.

And holding up the ball as a lone striker IS FUCKING POINTLESS NO MATTER WHO’S DOING IT!!

Pretty damning assessment by Frank. ‘some quality’ 😂….

“We know there’s some quality and potential in the squad but there are a lot of things it takes to win football matches regularly in this league and the first half performance we gave, you will lose pretty much every time if you perform like that.”

Mixed signals tbh

Was told he would be backed a couple of weeks back

Word now is it's 1 in 1 out so fuck knows
Think he would’ve been backed I’d he’d got a couple more wins and we were closer to play offs. Rebuild has to start in Jan though…then get it done early summer. We simply cannot leave it all u til the summer.

Had a header saved. Rebound should of been finished by Assante.
His holding up work was ok imo. Encouraged by his all round game today.

I thought he came across well in the interview. Now he has the chance to do something about it.

Yeah. Deserves promotion to Championship rosta on that performance.
If not already.

I can’t see it being a major window in January. I’m confident we are not going up or down so we may as well just bumble along till the summer-however frustrating that may be. We can then hopefully do a bit more surgery then.
That’s all well and good though if we then hit the ground running regarding the new additions. Look how long it took EMC to get going.

To be fair I think the lack of EMC and Wright is hurting us massively, not just the lack of goals but general play.

They are the ones that stretch the pitch, defenders have to drop off a yard otherwise they risk being beaten and letting them through on goal.

Rudoni naturally wants to drop deeper and get the ball into feet when he plays there, and doesn't have the pace to trouble the defence in that way anyway. And Sakamoto on the other side has never been about that, his game is trickery and link up play.

That all means that at the moment opposition defences feel comfortable squeezing us up the pitch, leaving less space in midfield which our midfielders cannot deal with at all, and that's caused the issues we've seen vs Millwall and today where we just look awful because there's no movement forward.

Still think Bassette on the left would be a better solution. I think we'll look much better when one or both are back. Doesn't excuse these performances though. MVE, Sheaf and Eccles were nowhere near the levels we know they can be today and the rest are yet to prove they can consistently reach the level we need.

He grew into it. A little more confidence ro shoot not take the extra touch and he may have scored 2 today. Looks more likely to score than Bassette but Nbassette puts more pressure on the defenders and creates more space for others
