Not desperate at all for Lampard to fail. Was impressed with his words when he first came in.
how anyone can say this is much better or an improvement is beyond me.
Weve played poor opposition, lost 4-1 to the team that were bottom and drew with a team that had 10 men for a half.
Statistically I think we're slightly better, but just looking at the performances, there doesn't seem to be any more "umph", urgency, passion. Other than EMC there doesn't seem to be much individual improvment under the new manager or his back room team.
We don't know what was agreed with King and Lamps prior to his appointment so we have to see if King will allow him to bring in some fresh faces. Lots on here have repeatedly said we need strengthening/competiton in certain areas. With that in mind, we should give the new man the opportunity to do this and see if he's able to use his name/talent to spot, recruit and develop accordingly. After all, Rome wasn't built in a day, it took years and lots of in and outs for the last bloke to turn it around.
