When you look at Thomas Ince you have to wonder if he would have got as far if his name was Thomas Smith.
In fairness to him, his numbers are fairly good this season. 9 goals and 4 assists in 38 games.

Agreed...a decent return for a midfielder. In fairness to him, his numbers are fairly good this season. 9 goals and 4 assists in 38 games.
One of those players who is very good in the Championship but not quite good enough in the Premiership. In fairness to him, his numbers are fairly good this season. 9 goals and 4 assists in 38 games.
But we haven't beat them in 2 attempts this season. What makes you think we would this time?Genuinely can’t believe Luton are where they are. I get they play a style of football which appears to work for them, but how have they not be found out or completely outclassed by some of the better footballing teams in the league.
My memory of them is a team full of 6 foot plus players who spent a lot of time in the gym and not much on the training ground.
As I say fair play for making it work, but in a play off situation (i.e. when we sneak into 6th) I’d fancy us to snub their one dimensional tactics and outplay them.
I think this season our style of of play has probably been quite similar to theirs in fairness but they are better at the back. The lad they play at 10, Campbell is a carbon copy of Jamie Allen in the way he plays, he's a busy little fucker. In fact they all are, they basically out work teams.Genuinely can’t believe Luton are where they are. I seem to remember us being linked to him.I think this season our style of of play has probably been quite similar to theirs in fairness but they are better at the back. Is that right, decent little player. Would split opinion on here thoI seem to remember us being linked to him.

Jamie Allen on crack? He's more aggressive than Allen, horrible little player but effective
Since we have been back in the Championship our record against Luton hasn't been very good, lost 3 and drawn 3 but I wouldn't call them a bogey team. Prior to the last 3 years we have a reasonable record against them. But we haven't beat them in 2 attempts this season. What makes you think we would this time?

Only Burnley Luton and Sheff U have lost fewer games than us - Our problem is the drawsSince the world cup the only teams to beat Luton are:
Boro 2-1
West Brom 3-2
And Burnley 1-0
Absolute shithouseHe's more aggressive than Allen, horrible little player but effective
Is that so, if our finishing was a bit better that would make the differenceOnly Burnley Luton and Sheff U have lost fewer games than us - Our problem is the draws
Did you not read his username? But we haven't beat them in 2 attempts this season. What makes you think we would this time?
Norwich started sharply as well. Pukki had two chances to let a shot go and didn't. A few seasons ago he'd have let fly I think, he used to remind me a bit of DefoeBig goal for us , Norwich 1 down
Does anyone else think that Aarons is massively over rated? Wasn't there talk of 50mil for him a while back?
If Norwich got offered 50m for it and they rejected it they're mental. He seems to be a bog std right backHe always looks a bit small in stature
Is that one of the Villa Ramseys?Nice to see the former Norwich loanee celebrate the goal.
Same thing as the refAnd me what did I miss?
Way more dangerous, Norwich with a lot of the ball but Boro look sharp and incisive.Middlesbrough look a lot better than Norwich at the moment.
Boils my pissNorwich have nothing to complain about there the game is being stopped far too often for nothing injuries
