From what I've read for proper herd immunity we need 75-80%Will be interesting to see what the uptake is as we move forward. Is there a minimum uptake we need for the famed herd-immunity to kick in?
Flu vaccine uptake seems to run around 70-72% in the over 65s, assume this will be higher.

I honestly don’t know but I’m assuming you can’t mix n match with the virus, ie: if you receive the Pfizer vaccine for your first jab then only the Pfizer will work for the follow up and the same with the AstraZeneca etc.
Or am I wrong, can any of the 2nd doses be used ?

That’s what I mean, I’ve not seen it mentioned anywhere.Not sure as don't the Pzifer and AZ vaccines work differently?
That’s sort of what I thought, another reason to 2nd jab in the recommended 3 - 4 weeks.One uses mutated chimp virus the other just uses the viral RNA, they produce the same effect but in quite different ways. It is much better to be consistent as that’s what each was studied with.
