Frankly the data is all that matters, real world experience will always pick up the exceptions.
Funny that the real world experience of vaccines stopping my Mum from catching Covid are ignored however, or stopping my friend from ending up in hospital, unlike his brother-in-law pre-vaccine days (but hey, he didn't die so doesn't count). Let's hope vaccines help chiefdave's Dad, too, that's what matters in the real world.
And when it comes to it, all those are just isolated examples, it's the data collected and analysed by experts that matters... but people are either unwilling, or unable, to understand said data.
