Did you get tested Shmmeee?
No. Went for a checkup at the hub and the decided it’s bronchitis so no need for a test.
someone who judges a person on skin colour. You?
[I agree the idiots in the parks are no better but what I don’t see is white youths roaming the streets at the night in packs but hey lets slam white people but not ethics
No, you’re supposed to have actual criticism and not shit ripped straight from the Britain First FB feed.
I have criticized many white politicians and experts as well over the handling off this outbreak, or am I only allowed to mention a brown politician if I mention a white one at the same time?
how? so what I say and show is not factual?
It was a genuine criticism, it's poor decision making from those in power. Why are you so defensive over a Muslim politician? are they beyond judgement?
I didn't mention his skin colour. My assumption was more that you were singling him out because he was a labour politician.
I'm not saying I agree with the advice at the time, but it's very difficult to lockdown quickly like they did in an authoritarian state like China. There were always other factors at play. If we're criticizing anyone it should be Public Health England, but it's still criticism in hindsight. From that point the situation changed very quickly - the day after there was a large surge in cases. It wasn't until 10 days later that football was suspended though, which looks very late considering we now know that the Atalanta Vs Valencia game was what caused the huge spread in Italy and contributed to an acceleration in Spain.
Not exactly a walk in the park bronchitis.
Could have been worse though so good(ish) news
Stay strong, Shmmeee. Get well soon.Getting so sick of the coughing and being shagged out after making a coffee or going for a wee so just glad to have a diagnosis and some antibiotics to give light at the end of the tunnel.

Amended for youIn fairness, as much as I disagree, that article is dated 3rd March when there were still very few cases in this country. The risk at that time was still probably pretty low and the advice from the government at the time was to carry on as normal and shake the hands of Coronavirus sufferers while visiting a hospital.

I'm not loyal to any political party, my posts on here express that countless times, I am quite fond of Boris though, he seems too genuinely believe in this country and the people in it, no politician is beyond criticism.
Depends if the bloke has a beard or not I suppose.Getting shagged after making a coffee sounds alright to me to be fair

But it's been pointed out that he was just parroting what he was told.
Imagine if he ignored the chief medical officer?
Like I said, not a fan of his but I can't see this was on him.
Aargh. My ears.WITH HINDSIGHT IT SEEMS CRAZY. YOU REALLY ARE AS BAD AS GRENDEL
I wouldn't mention anything good about Boris Marty, soon as you do that you get the usual bellends on this thread jumping on ya straight away
So which experts told Boris it was OK to shake the hands of Coronavirus victims? It certainly wasn’t Chris Whitty as he promptly corrected him with a very red face that meant he was either angry with Boris or embarrassed for him.He made the comment on exactly the same day Boris made his infamous handshake comment that gets a lot of traction in this thread. Either both were stupid or both can use the excuse they were just going off expert advice at the time.

No. It’s. Not. At that point there was no reason to avoid public transport. We didn’t have an outbreak here, we’d been managing cases well.
Also, there’s an outbreak in Birmingham, where the criticism of Andy Street?
Going round in circles here, I just think that a person in his position needs to put his neck on the line every once in a while, ignore the 'experts' and do what is right by the people he represents.

Brilliant news this! How come they have done so well?
So what exactly would qualify Sadiq Khan to ignore expert advice on the subject of a pandemic? As far as I’m aware he was a lawyer not a scientist specialising in the field of pandemics.Going round in circles here, I just think that a person in his position needs to put his neck on the line every once in a while, ignore the 'experts' and do what is right by the people he represents.
He would have got slaughtered if he had done that. Totally.Going round in circles here, I just think that a person in his position needs to put his neck on the line every once in a while, ignore the 'experts' and do what is right by the people he represents.

Coronavirus: Health effects of a COVID-19 recession 'could be worse than the pandemic'
In a new briefing, it notes a recent debate on "whether the adverse health effects of a recession may be greater than the increased morbidity and mortality within the pandemic itself".
This is true, its worrying how the cure could turn out to be worse than the virus itself which makes the governments job so difficult

Boris has sent this to every household.
Boris has the virus.
Has Boris just infected the whole nation with Coronavirus?
You do realise the tests don’t get turned around in 5 mins don’t you? In fact save it, not being funny but you don’t seem to have any clue at all what’s going on with the figures.
