On PPE many truths are not getting told. A dlivery on a Friday was made to a 'desperate' hospital. On the Monday a second delivery by the same driver was made and the original delivery was still on the side unopened.
On ventilators why is it taking so long to get approval passed for Dyson's models that are ready to be delivered?

You will get scare stories, misinformation from both camps and political brinkmanship. You have incompetent NHS procurement managers and complete lack of management control within the NHS with more and more pen pushers taken from the front line positions. You have new urgently built hospitals going largely vacant?

Do your own research, do not listen to the main stream media or the conspiracy media. Above all do not beleive a word China says.

Those hospitals were always extra capacity if needed. It was a preparation that was actually correct. If the virus had been worse and hospital beds ran out and they hadn't created these emergency hospitals it'd be considered a scandal nothing was in place to increase capacity.

Tattoo parlours are reopening in Denmark which is great . Essential service and the 2 metre rule can still be applied if your arms are very very long .

Mr Tickle is a man very much in demand at the moment! Seems all is forgiven for the years of harassment and inappropriate touching.

If you focus on the individual when things go bad you can change it and thus slightly disassociate yourself as a party from it. "We've got rid of the one that let you down. So vote for us again" Let the leader have the glory if things go well, but make sure they're the scaprgoat when things go bad.

But it's not just a Tory thing, the Labour government is now 'Blair', just as Tory was 'Thatcher' etc.
I agree. Seen it so many times by the Tories over the years. Even Thatcher bit the bullet to try and change our perspective of the Tories. May didn't last long. Labour, although behind, were making a bit of ground. Get rid of May and put a fool in her place. But it worked as it normally does. That is why I want them to keep Boris whatever happens.

And Gove is an uncharismatic fool.
But no blame on Gove. Blame everything on Boris. Look at this thread. Most already want to blame Boris for everything. Fool gone Gove in. Gove takes the.next amount of shite then they put in the one they want in time for the next GE.

That is the main difference between Labour and Tories other than policies. Tories get rid. Labour hangs on too long.

You realise you just donated to one of the biggest socialist projects in the world right?

Also that Tom was fighting the exact same sort of right wing populists you’re cheerleading for?

Also his generation voted Remain by a distance.

Couldn’t make it up. Draping yourself in something you clearly don’t understand.

SB helped you out.

So you agreed that the money old Tom raised is going into running the NHS when it isn't.

Why do you always have to pick for the sake of picking? It’s going TO the NHS... which in itself is THE most iconic example of socialism in the country.

The point stands.

99 year old goes above and beyond in fundraising for NHS

Some dude on the internet donates (good), and hopes people criticise him so he can prove a point

Honestly we have much more in common than what divides us but you wouldn't know it from this thread and many others.

I know. But the money raised isn't going into running the NHS. It is going into funding what should be funded bu the British government though. It.is shameful that charity funding is needed.

It is but still a great effort by Tom all the same.

I could imagine mine calling him a 'little cringlesticker' whatever that meant
It's the using the a war they never fought in to attack other people that would of really pissed him off.

From what I can gather he was sunk a few times and lost a lot of friends and it was horrible.

People like wurzel are well described in the last verse of Suicide In The Trenches by Siegfried Sassoon.

Moving on from the carrot fucker

I see the experts are now saying there is no chance of hitting 100k tests by the end of the month.

They also say the capacity line is rubbish as it's all well and good having lab capacity but it is worthless if you don't have the ability to take enough swabs to be tested.
