Clear blue sky and 26c here, cheers!Sun??!
Would you rather be in Italy though?Clear blue sky and 26c here, cheers!
Didn't even need to set a target. Increasing testing from 18k to up to 80k is impressive enough. It's just ludicrous that they spent so much effort to 'meet' that target which could so easily be disproved and has since fallen back again. Why? It's just being misleading for the sake of being misleading and generating distrust. If they put that much effort into PPE etc we'd have no problem.
If they'd just said "we set an ambitious target and didn't meet it but we're committed to continue increasing testing" it'd be forgotten about in a day. Instead they've just added to the long list of stuff showing them to not be trustworthy.

But it's being torn apart already and once parliament is sitting on Monday they will be forced to admit it is wrong.Look at the fanfare their fudged number got.
That's why they did it!
That won't matter the seed is sown now and a lot of people will believe they hit the target. Not to mention if you google it the top results will be news reports on how they hit the target. But it's being torn apart already and once parliament is sitting on Monday they will be forced to admit it is wrong.

Social media is mostly full of boys these daysYou only have to look at social media to see there are people who don't accept criticism of it and think anyone doing so is just looking for excuses to be negative. It's funny and frightening at the same time.

BuT wHy Do YoU hAtE tHiS cOuNtRy....? YoU’rE sO uNpAtRiOtIc....It is but there's members of the press doing it, Nadine Dorries gloating, it's a joke.
It's like when Johnson stood up the other day and said the government's handling of the crisis had been a success and hardly anyone challenges him on it. Country's fucked
Why say they are going to test 100k people a day then? What if only 63k needed testing that day? I'm not saying the numbers the other day were truthful, but someone from my work went to get tested at the Ricoh, said no one was there. (maybe everyone went to St Andrews instead) but you cant test people aren't there
This is a party political broadcast on behalf of the Labour party. What if only 63k needed testing that day? It is better to be able to test more than needed than not be able to test as many as needed as previously. Why say they are going to test 100k people a day then?
Why say they are going to test 100k people a day then?
Then why is there so many people on social media saying they can't get a test? Why is there people booking tests to find the only option is to go to a testing centre hours away? Why are people turning up at testing centres at the booked time to find there is no staff? What if only 63k needed testing that day? They haven't even tested most of people who they said would get tested in care homes as the staff aren't allowed to administer the testsThen why is there so many people on social media saying they can't get a test? But mad nad is a joke to both the left and right. It is but there's members of the press doing it, Nadine Dorries gloating, it's a joke.

I'm interested to know more detail of how you believe the response to Covid-19 to be the fault of Labour? This is a party political broadcast on behalf of the Labour party.
Just like we knew that a pandemic was going to happen so should have stockpiled everything needed. But the truth is we hadn't had a pandemic for over 100 years. And those same people ignore that Labour didn't prepare for one either.
Down to 56,397 people tested in todays figures. Still no home testing kits available on the booking site as it seems they sent out thousands to Conservative party members to fudge the numbers. They haven't even tested most of people who they said would get tested in care homes as the staff aren't allowed to administer the tests

Because they have capacity to test 100k a day.. but only 63k needed to be tested that day
I'm going to take a wild guess here. He didn't show any of this "enormous evidence" and we've just got to take his word for it?
Pompeo is more of a fantasist than Trump.... and that takes some beating!
