I agree, he does talk shit and bigs up a fucking useless government. However to say he loves the fact people are dying is below the belt. I disagree that he deserves it.

Fair comment but maybe he should stop the jokey Boris lad comments when we're discussing thousands of deaths

What about those posters who make accusations the government are deliberately killing people in some kind of mass cull? Or hoping companies fail and people are out of work? Also it’s very obvious some people are revelling in this crises - at least 3 never or rarely comment on the football threads and never have but are on overdrive here

These no shows from the prime Minister must be causing damage. Now Brexit is 'done' all those traditional labour voters in the north that turned Tory presumably are looking for some sort of leadership in a pivotal time for the country. In their hour of need they are being left empty handed by the person they trusted with their vote. I can only presume he is unwell.

I dont think there's anything wrong with being angry with a government that's clearly made a complete hash of things.

To say it's a mass cull is a bit emotive but maybe if the government explained why They changed from their herd immunity strategy instead of trying to bullshit their way out of it people might be a bit more understanding of them making mistakes

We've been. In the midst of this pandemic for around 2 months and we must have had at least 1 provable lie from a senior government figure on average every 3 days.
We also have a refusal of government ministers to go on GMB and a prime minister who even allowing for his illness and the birth of his child has been conspicuous by his absence.

They only have themselves to blame for some of the more wild accusations.

Actually they will be looking to see in 4 years time what their lives are like and if it will be better or worse under starmer

They aren't looking for leadership then in the biggest crisis in a generation or two?

Not when it’s election no it’s jobs and pounds in pockets. Some of thalchers ratings between elections were horrific - just look at politics threads on this forum - it’s totally out of sync with the population at large - they will lose a lot of seats anyway in those areas tbh some were one offs

I don’t think at the moment Labour are doing too much to entice back the ‘red wall’ at the moment.

He's aiming that at me but alas I do comment on the footie threads so he's lying again.

I'd love to comment on the football threads but there is no fucking football.

They are doing enough, its years until.the next ge. Once the much vaunted sunlit uplands fail to materialise things will change.

I don't disagree with much of that. Specifically on Johnson though, do you think he's weirdly absent? Or am I expecting too much?

If it isn't deliberate then you've voted for an incredibly incompetent bunch

Imagine if Winston Churchill had have been this invisible.
What would they call a film if they made one about Boris? The quietest hour? Can’t be Morgan/Johnson or Neil/Johnson because he doesn’t do interviews. Boris seX? Johnson: A long walk to freezer.

Its a joke isn't it. Had a mate apply for one of these jobs and he was told he had to commit to three months and would have to live onsite. The cost of which would be deducted from the ridiculously low wage. Rules out anyone furloughed or with any responsibilities.

Those are crazy stipulations, no idea if that is typical but how the hell is someone with any kind of commitments going to be able to do that? I'd have a look at doing a Saturday on the odd occasion just because it seems quite cathartic and you'd get a few quid. Clearly it won't work like that.

You get paid piece rate, any imperfect picks in the box and the entire box is rejected and you don't get paid. Its 10 hour shifts 6 days a week whatever the weather.

Can't imagine why of the 50,000 applications they had last time they pushed this scheme only 112 people accepted jobs.

Yeah but they’re coming over here stealing our jobs. Is that what you want because that’s what will happen.

It's like working in kebab shop at 2am on Friday night.

No Brit wants to do that for the money on offer
