Whilst I dont disagree with what Starmer has said there is not a cat in hells chance of Labour winning the next election with him.
As you are usually wrong it's time to lump on Starmer

Who would you pick.
This is obviously a very small sample size but my 72 year old Mum, who has voted Conservative all her life, was raving about Andy Burnham a couple of days ago.
I think most of the Labour MPs have been rejected by people who vote Labour.
It seems very few people now have anything to do with political parties. The MPs have brought about their own demise with the policies they have forwarded over the last twenty or thirty years.
I think it is getting to a point now where we need to move from representational democracy to direct democracy.
143 deaths today. Not exactly weakening...
Who would set the agenda's here?
Where has this myth about Sunak being competent come from? It is an incredibly superficial. From what I can see he's got no original thought, just wedded to the same orthodoxy that saw the country in a mess before Covid.
I get very worried that every time I see Jeremy Hunt, I think now there's a leader.Sunak is only seen as competent as he is compared to the other clowns in the cabinet. He's a lightweight. Sadly for the Tories they got rid of any one with an once of ability.

In comparison to the PM and the rest of the cabinet it can’t be a difficult task to look competent.Where has this myth about Sunak being competent come from? It is an incredibly superficial. Classic whataboutery. The answer is no I don't, as I've said before. I was talking about SunakDo you think the shadow chancellor looks competent - she’s hardly Nigel Lawson or Gordon Brown and between Sunak and her I’d know who I’d choose

This seems back to front to me. Shouldn't the numbers dictate what tier an area is in, or at the very least shouldn't this be centrally controlled and not something thats up for discussion? Council's shouldn't be having to approach the government to be moved to the most suitable tier.
Disagree, it should always have been a local decision made locally. All central government should do is enable these decisions and provide resources for them to be enacted. This seems back to front to me. And force them all out at the same time? Yeah who could see it coming. It was impossible to predict something like that would happen if you give people 48 hours lockdown notice,

tbf, schools seem the major centre of transmission.Oh for fuck sake Northern Ireland, close all non-essential businesses before closing schools. Bunch of right wing assholes.
Fucking hellComical listening to Jenrick on LBC trying to explain what counts as a meal. Going to a pub and having a pasty and pint is out, going to the pub and having a pasty that comes with salad and a pint absolutely fine.
