We finished halfway up the fair play table.
Big long balls? I watched MoTD and they waxed lyrical over a two pass Man City goal.
Should we wear another colour and hit it long?
Ah I remember in the old days the likes of Watford complained about Glenn Hoddle doing "exquisite long passes" whereas they were just dismissed as hoofers.

After nearly 2,400 posts in this one thread, it’s clear on a number of fronts;

1. We are passionate about our club
2. We have different views, but we are passionate about our club
3. We need to accept what happened on Saturday, however hard that was for all of us, but we are passionate about our club all the same
4. Hopefully we all believe in Robins, Adi, Lawrence and all the back room team, they’re all passionate about club too
5. We are City, we’ll still be passionate about our club, we’re used to knock backs, but we’ll dust ourselves off and move on
6. BELIEVE. We are passionate about our club. We are the best supporters, we support each other and the team
7. We are the Sky Blue Army. We are on our way….
8. We really are on our way, what a season. Bring on the next #PUSB

Come on

It's going to take me a bit of time to recover however I just want to say that I had the most brilliant weekend at Wembley and it's a memory I will cherish forever. The build up, socialising, atmosphere was incredible. The walk up the steps to my seat and seeing that sea of sky blue and the noise was out of this world and literally gave me goosebumps and I haven't felt emotion like it. It was my first ST this year, I live about 140 miles away but it's been absolutely worth every penny and minute spent. I feel so much closer to the club in general (which is something that I found slightly more difficult when living outside the city) and you just can't compare the highs and lows to anything! - that alongside the Northern based supporters group I joined a few years ago where I've gained some brilliant mates along the way and has made match days even better.

After the result on Saturday, I felt pretty low but on reflection I wouldn't want things any other way. Alongside the lows, the highs we get from it are just so much more powerful. "Living" is about feeling and Man Utd, Liverpool fans etc and their "alternative" perspectives of the world will never understand or get to feel any of that euphoria in the same way that we have and do so we shouldn't envy them.

I'm looking forward to a break from it all now as I'm emotionally exhausted but at same time, I'm addicted to this club and I cant wait for next season's rollercoaster.

Do we have the biggest set of needy/paranoid fans ever?

Why were Joy and Tim there?
Why aren’t the BBC giving us attention after the game? Their full focus is on Luton!
Why isn’t our retained list out yet?
Dabo’s mrs had a pic with Hamer’s mrs and said end of an era, what does this mean?

Finally watched highlights of the game this morning. My god, we were lucky to be only 1-0 down at HT. Adebayo's miss was criminal, and watching their first disallowed goal from the corner, I am not seeing much wrong. Their other 2 were clear handballs.
Reminded me of that 1st half against Stoke at the CBS this season. We just couldn't string a pass together and our back 3 were nervy and all over the place. We did improve after the break but were far from our best still.

No one said the was a problem, it's simply that I would prefer a team that plays retrograde John Beck style hoofball to not be successful.

Fair play for them for doing that they did but I am not going to cheer them on. Also anything that makes Stephen Yaxley Lennon happy can do one as well.
I’m sure I remember John Beck scoring a pretty silky free kick for City into the west end goal once !

When the dust settles we have to face up to the fact that we were not good enough on the day.

Luton would have been gutted if they lost that match, I think they would have felt more hard done by.

Anyone else think we need to fuck this threadoff now?

As gutting as losing was, it’s something that can and will make us stronger.

It’s time to look forward. We’ve got rid of some deadwood and have already made a positive start towards rebuilding.

Onwards and fuckingupwards
