How's the garden now? Kids been enjoying it this summer?ha ha
Surely all of the NOPM brigade would come flocking back, after all none of their money would be going to SISU.
We will obviously then have 30k gates every home match (based on all of the supporters who went to Wembley), generating enough revenue to build a squad capable of getting out of this league, and also League One, and be competitive (mid table-ish) in The Championship. Dale and the consortium would then sell the club off to Red Bull or whoever to get us to the Premiership....and then I wake up
If someone else took over the club and ran it like they really cared abd it was their only priority. There would be a definite increase in attendance without a shadow of a doubt.

That looks great. If CCFC get booted outta the Ricoh then that could be a viable option.Changed somewhat from when you saw it! - kids loving it now
Think the moaning old fart residents of Earlsdon might have something to say about that. That looks great. If CCFC get booted outta the Ricoh then that could be a viable option.
No, I was just going to bed last night when I spotted a Facebook PM, it was from a guyAt 2am? Did you know if him before, if he is from down your way?

Very cynical there Grendel! I agree with you it would be short boost in gates unless we were smashing teamsFor one game probably.
@SimonGilbert check this out.Is anyone else waiting for an 'Exclusive' from the Coventry Telegraph about how a deal has been agreed...based on what has been written in this thread?
Is that your main concern, the fans? jesus wept..I do agree. My only concern is, would many of the stayaways move the goalposts though. Instead of the "I'll come back when SISU have gone' philosophy, turn in to 'I'll come back once this consortium has shown it is investing x million'. Will it be like the Gillingham homecoming: everybody shows up to herald the new arrival, yet at the next opportunity to support, 15,000 go missing....will we see 28k show up for the first game under the consortium to show 'potential', but then game 2 sees 12k (still a good crowd for League 2 admittedly)? All hypothetical obviously.

Well it is a concern, because a club on pathetic gates of 6k isn't really going anywhere in the short or long term
Hoffman never worked for Sisu. He was on the board of directors at CCFCDale Evans: I want to buy the club, please name your price
SISU: Ok then
.....
Deal verbally agreed. He'll have done very well to get through to Sepalla where many others have failed. She won't even entertain Hoffman and he used to work for her.

Heard you've turned 50 today, normally on peoples birthdays I wish them a great day, but for you sir, I hope it's shit!Im tim fisher
I repeat he did not work for her.Semantics, SISU were the owners of the club and he was on the board.
My main concern is that this is his consortium of 4!If nothing else he managed to get into Elliotts "box" at the weekend.

Our average is 8k, but I see your point, SISU leaving would increase that attendance dramatically .Well it is a concern, because a club on pathetic gates of 6k isn't really going anywhere in the short or long term
It didn't take Sisu months did it?Im not suprised people are sceptical! Everything went quiet with Hoffman then all of a sudden on friday a guy with a 'big windfall' says he wants to buy the club, next minute hes already agreed a fee... these things take months. I can live in hope though i guess
Semantics, SISU were the owners of the club and he was on the board.
Last time the club was in administration, there also wasn't owners that are unwilling to even talk to potential purchasers face to face.It didn't take Sisu months did it?
I repeat he did not work for her.
Fact not semantics,
Yep. Exactly my thinking too. Hoffman came up short with his offer and maybe, just maybe this Dale Evans money (if indeed he has actually got the money) takes him over the line. Those doubting the money, he said the other day he is no longer acting alone and is infact now a consortium of 4, my bet would be that he’s rallied with Hoffman
