As said before conflating Israel with Jews breaks one of the anti-Semitism guidelines
Aye that is against the IHRA guidelines.
It is textbook AS to equate the actions of the state of Israel with being Jewish
Also the amount of people who didn't give a rats about AS 3 years ago that seem to have done a 180 is mad.
Roughly 47% of the world's Jewish population are in Israel .
The Romans invaded Palestine about 100 years before Jesus was even born so that’s not even remotely true.
Imagine a bunch of white British people kicking all the Muslims out of Bradford or all the Jews out of Golders Green because “our ancestors were here first” then tell me you’d support that.
Read the IHRA guidelines and get back to me
Racism isn’t about equality any more, just beating your political opponents over their head.
He’s also wrong it’s 30%, the majority live in the US:Jewish population by country - Wikipedia
By this logic anyone criticising the US is antisemitic.
Imagine a bunch of white British people kicking all the Muslims out of Bradford or all the Jews out of Golders Green because “our ancestors were here first” then tell me you’d support that.
What did they do? Buy up much of the land?
Was every Palestinian removed ?
Most of Palestine was Arab owned because the ottomans banned Jewish people from buying land at all in the first place
“What did they do?”
Take it up with the UN.
You still aren’t getting it are you? The anti-Semitism guidelines are pretty clear
So we are arguing Israeli borders , not arguing about how people purchased the land in the first place.
Like you said it's Israel now and has been for upto 80 years... the old tenants can't rock up and expect to take it back .
Sorry but you said that yourself
I'm not on about anti semitism I was on about population in response to his population link
I understand Israel isn't completely Jewish
So we are arguing Israeli borders , not arguing about how people purchased the land in the first place.
Like you said it's Israel now and has been for upto 80 years... the old tenants can't rock up and expect to take it back .
Sorry but you said that yourself
Conflating the two is a breach of AS guidelines aaargh so frustrating
What's frustrating ? We were trying to pinpoint what % of the world's Jewish population lived in Israel
Incredible, so if I kick someone out of their house by armed force and put up guards to stop them getting back in they just have to accept it?
No it’s that you’ve conflated Israel with Jews
So we are arguing Israeli borders , not arguing about how people purchased the land in the first place.

Do I think Israel should’ve been created where it is? No, it was classic colonialism gone mad.
Now it’s there so I think Israel should be expanding illegally into other areas? No, I do not.
Do I find the total slavish adherence to the Israeli government line fucking weird and freaky and the ridiculous hyperbole around any criticism of it suspect? Yes, yes I do.
I believe in a two state solution because as you said we’ve done it now and it can’t be undone. I think anyone killing kids is scum.
God, the addiction is hard to break...Incredible, so if I kick someone out of their house by armed force and put up guards to stop them getting back in they just have to accept it?
Okay 70 years before the birth of Jesus. Bit hard for them to “come and force Christianity on them” when Christianity wasn’t even a thing (clue is in the title). Besides it was centuries after Jesus died before the Romans even adopted Christianity as a faith.
God, the addiction is hard to break...
I knew somebody from Palestine once. They were one of the more well-off Palestinians, family owned a business and could afford to send him to the UK. He was happy to be friends with people from, wherever really, wasn't particularly politically engaged. However in the background, his family had lost a lot of thir land and property during Israeli occupation.
And then once didn't come back once for months - Israel wouldn't let people out and then shelled where he lived, repeatedly. His family lost everything.
He despised Israel for what they did - he voted Hamas or whatever their political wing is, as what he saw was his land oppressed and colonised by an aggressor, when all his family wanted to do was work a living.
There are many sides to this story.
You've missed completely why they might start voting Hamas, clearly.I agree .
Much like when our regiment were training on phoenix (UAV) In Israel and rockets came over daily .
There are many sides to this story agreed
Nobody who is well rounded votes in a terrorist militia

Oh well.

I'm genuinely confused by what are you saying. The Israelites settled the lands 1200 BCE. Subsequent invasions included the Rashidum caliphate come much later.
I'm not sure what Jesus and Christianity has to do with this ether.
No, no point missed at all
There certainly is if you follow with "Nobody who is well rounded votes in a terrorist militia."No, no point missed at all
