Fact is Grimes was being to Marcus Rashford thinking he was being clever by telling him he doesn’t have the right to do what he complains everyone has the right to do. Like I said in my first post. Darren Grimes does himself no favours whatsoever when when his response to a missed penalty is to tell the person taking it that his political opinions need cancelling. He’s promoting hatred of a young black footballer from the sidelines for no other reason than he doesn’t share his political opinions. If Rashford was a dribbling Tory pleb who only tweeted what a great job Boris is doing he wouldn’t have said fuck all to Marcus Rashford when he missed the penalty and you know it. I suspect that Marcus Rashford missing the penalty was the highlight of Darren Grimes year. I’d rather focus on the massive support our country has shown for the lads especially when contrasted with how we behaved when England missed pens previously. What an amazing example of societal progress.

Grimes isn’t the good guy here, he promotes hatred. Marcus Rashford on the other hand doesn’t. They’re both victims but unless Marcus Rashford starts treating Grimes with the same disdain that Grimes treats him Marcus Rashford is the biggest victim by a country mile. Maybe you could acknowledge that in your defence of Grimes.

And Darren grimes is a much bigger part of the problem than Marcus Rashford. That doesn’t mean that people should go around abusing Darren Grimes but with social media as it is, a LOT more people are going to have sympathy with Marcus Rashford than Darren Grimes, that is the reality.
