He misses glorious chances every game. He is a poor finisherIf they'd of watched him last night when he missed 2 glorious chances, they'd wonder how we could possibly be asking 20+ million for him.

Genuinely - I believe that Coventry City have a better striker currently than Manchester United, as if offered the two I’d take Gyökeres over that Weghorst every day of the week

Cheaper wasn’t he?Agree. Such a strange, dog shit signing.
Football Insider have linked him with about every bottom half Premier League side in the past 12 months but thought I’d throw this in

The birthplace of sophistication according to @fernandopartridgeLeeds is a move I could understand him making tbh, even if they do come down
Big football club, fantastic place to live and he’d undoubtedly double his wage - I just hope we get a bit more north of £12m, if he goes I want him to break Robbie Keane’s record at least

I'm sure most clubs would be interested at £12m. Would be a bargain.

Imagine winning the next two games and announcing an extension to yoks contract oh myTBF if the rumours of £4,5k a week are true we certainly can.
If those rumours are correct we could treble his wage especially now Waghorne. Hillsner & DeCosta are if the books.TBF if the rumours of £4,5k a week are true we certainly can.

We'd be able to negotiate that back easily with a player on a long term deal and likely he'd have signed it with a release clause set higher than we'd get with only a year left. That he hasn't signed a new contract tells me he is definitely leaving in the summer. A deal has probably already be agreed with a club.
If we had offered him 20k with a sell on clause when Doug arrived he would have lost 1\2 million by the summer in wages. If a deal has been agreed it makes no sense to offer him a new contract. Save that 1\2 million for the rebuild.
tbf he wasn't exactly stunning in his loan spell with us, either. It's been some transformation since!

Indeed, bit of an odd cut off. Wonder who had more than 39 in their first 100 before Dublin? Ian Wallace?since 92/93. when football began....
