Don’t think we’ll be seeing all that much more of Sakamoto
If we go back to 4 at the back, which I think we will, then he'll be first choice on the right.
Don’t think we’ll be seeing all that much more of Sakamoto
We can all agree Allen has been a revelation on his return to the team. But he's not the long term solution
Lampard said in an interview that he likes himDon’t think we’ll be seeing all that much more of Sakamoto
Lampard hinted in his interview about Grimes that he could use him a bit further forward, so it's by no means guaranteed what he'll be doingMaybe this is where I’m wrong as I thought Grimes was the Sheaf replacement.
If we play double pivot then would say great but that would place Rudoni and Torp into the centre where I think they struggle to play as well as on the left and right of midfield
If Frank sees Grimes as higher up or if he can also great but if not it would us with an additional expensive player without the RB or RW we could do with this year
Yeah said he was unlucky because of the change of formation.Lampard said in an interview that he likes him
I disagree. Think the only reason he’s not been playing is because he doesn’t suit this system. Once everyone is back and we are back to out and out wingers, he’ll be back in. Lampard has said on several occasions that he likes him.
Not sure... selling your top striker at this stage of the season when you're involved in an incredibly tight playoff push is a hell of a risk. Iheanacho obviously has talent but is an enigma, not someone I'd be confident in relying on.
Didn't they do this with Akpom after he was firing in goals?? and it didn't help them (or has the memory gone completely?)Boro flogging Latte Lath for 22.5 million and getting Iheanacho on loan from Sevilla is easily the best bit of business in Jan so far
If this was happening, we’d have already had something I’d have thoughtIf this is true I'm sure we'll hear more on this from Twitter Journos later or online today or early tomorrow as its Ajax involved
He's a very ordinary striker no ?Boro flogging Latte Lath for 22.5 million and getting Iheanacho on loan from Sevilla is easily the best bit of business in Jan so far
Iheanacho isn’t that good a signing either is he?He's a very ordinary striker no ?
Put it this way haji is on par with him at a minimumHe's a very ordinary striker no ?

Return of the GOD????Rumours we were at Charlton Scouting yesterday. Wonder if we are one of the championship sides looking at Thierry Small
@Saddlebrains heard anything on Tahirovic coming in? Anyone potentially leaving to make way or Eccles pushing for a move?
So that's a no then?Id file it under 'more chance of plaiting piss'
Is there a chance that your ITK doesn't know ?Id file it under 'more chance of plaiting piss'
There is, though I find it hard to see how we’d manage so many CMsIs there a chance that your ITK doesn't know ?

Just hoping here really
He could be on the radar for the summer of course
But let's look at it logically
We were aiming to get someone out for a fee this window, haven't, yet added grimes. So that's 3.5Million spent this window
We spent 13 Million in the summer with only Palmer going out for a fee, (1.2 Million I'm told)
So we are net 15.3 Million down this season
There is absolutely no way we bring anyone in for a fee now.
The summer will be different, Sheaf will be going for 7 or above, Vik will 100% move on so that's another 6 Million
or maybe we’re signing him on loan to buy him in the summer knowing sheaf is goingHe could be on the radar for the summer of course

On his day he’s the best midfielder in the league, there will be Prem clubs + the clubs coming down looking at himPossibly, but Doug is a sensible businessman.
What if Sheaf doesn't get the interest he/we expect this summer? We've all agreed he's been woeful bar 2 or 3 games this season. The performances and injury record will have put off Premier league suitors I am 100% sure.
Oxford were rumoured with him for aloan. Quite possible we also try the same offer. He could be on the radar for the summer of course

It will be loan with obligation to buy I’d have thoughtOxford were rumoured with him for aloan. Quite possible we also try the same offer.
