Maybe he is Tim Fisher? But we have been here before with you and you have been proven wrong time after time. Clearly you have a personal issue with Doug King. If it isn't about the executive box price rise which put your nose out what is it? Did you prefer Sisu?
And without fail yet another thread derails into arguing
Dunno why people bite..isn't hamertime one of the most obvious wums on here? And without fail yet another thread derails into arguing

That's not what happened is it? 5m and emc now was never on the tableIt’s two separate issues. I can see why Doug wasn’t keen on paying 750k for 6 months. But we should have got someone else in, it was an error.
Got to be the Kolo Toure song, can't believe it's taken this long for a song to appear.I refuse to believe this is happening until there are at least 3 pages of songs ideas
Is this the five minute argument, or the full half-hour?No it doesn’t
Really, we would have won the fa cup and playoffs. As long as you’re happy it saved Doug a few quid I suppose that’s the main thing.
...it was a sellers market on that one. What are you on about? There was no option to buy him early. We paid the asking price.
You silly cunts have said this every window since he arrived. You’ll be saying it again in January, after what looks to be another productive summer, and then next summer you’ll say it again. If it all gets spent on the players fair enough, but the minute it’s not the fans will see through it. This is the big question mark in this transfer window. Robins got nothing in the last transfer window and the league season was derailed. We will soon find out what doug is all about.
How can you say he got nothing when we spent £6-7m? That is his second highest spend in the time he’s been with us.If it all gets spent on the players fair enough, but the minute it’s not the fans will see through it. Also, where is 5 million quid coming from!?!We haven’t signed him yet

Doug sold his handbag collection. Also, where is 5 million quid coming from!?!
All blown in one!... Who's paying the players wages!?ST money ?
Yes it does… (joke)No it doesn’t
Are you arguing in your spare time?Is this the five minute argument, or the full half-hour?

Talking of comedy, have you actually read what you are writing. So it was a good idea to buy a player in January for next season to save a couple of million when we were in the play offs desperately in need of players?
People saying it’s good business for the club when it’s not even their money, I never get that.
Some people are that institutionalised by the club they will never say anything bad about it or believe it can do anything wrong, it’s comedy.
How does any club buy players in this leagueAll blown in one!... Who's paying the players wages!?
I don’t think anyone can categorically state that one player would have made that difference.
Much as I rate him, I can't imagine him at ManUreI would say no chance of it happening. Jamie Allen though, that could be a possibility
They are up to a pointAre owners even allowed to do that anymore?

Yes.Soooo this Marko Stamenic guy, seems like he might be joining us soon. Any thoughts on that?
I’ve reread the source and you’re right yeah, they took 750k off the price but didn’t give us the option. What are you on about? There was no option to buy him early. We paid the asking price.
MacAnthony was also clear in his podcast that on deadline day, there was an agreement to bring EMC to us permanently. The only caveat was that Peterborough wanted to bring in their own target on the day (probably the Harrogate player they’ve signed). As this was unsuccessful, the option was this; £5m now, and a 750k discount to let him stay or if you wait until the summer, we’ll be asking for more.I’ve reread the source and you’re right yeah, they took 750k off the price but didn’t give us the option.
Mad that a L1 club essentially paid 750k for 6 months of one player.
Exactly this. We shouldn't have paid more for Mason-Clark but we should have brought in a loan or two. We were fifth in the table and could almost certainly have made the play offs with a bit more depth. It’s two separate issues. I can see why Doug wasn’t keen on paying 750k for 6 months. But we should have got someone else in, it was an error.
It didn't need to be a transitional season and was a missed opportunity.MacAnthony was also clear in his podcast that on deadline day, there was an agreement to bring EMC to us permanently. Bearing in mind Peterborough were still in run for automatic promotion, and almost guaranteed a shot via playoffs, it was 100% taking that deal.
Last season was always a rebuild season so whilst it was a bit shit we dropped off massively, there is no need to rush our incremental process.
