He only needs to look at the support for him today to see what the real fans think of him. He shouldn't lower himself to that tbf but i can understand it.He was targeted on twitter after Sunday's game by one of the faceless trolls who make it such a sewer of social media

Agreed. Think people have to remember he was coming back from injury last season-he looks properly sharp now. I think he needs to rise above 1 idiot giving him shite on "X", though. I'm not a fan of all that stats fixated media bollocks (xG, heat maps, KMs covered, number of Taylor Swift streams etc,) developed by techy nerds.That's 41 goals in 81 league starts , or 41 in 105 league appearances at city .

If I was a manager I'd probably get my players off Twitter tbh. It's pretty much inevitable what happened to Godden is going to happen to every player at some point, unfortunately arseholes are unavoidable. In fact if he's avoided it up until now then he's done well.His goal wasn't even that good today , but as the game went on you could see the confidence to link with palmer and haji / simms was there .. he enjoyed today.. was involved in all 3 goals
