“You can’t just scratch out ‘EU’ and put in ‘UK’.”
Who knows KoK could turn out to be right, Trump is such a wild card he's impossible to predict. But looking at the blue skies negotiations, looking at the tariffs he's throwing around like confetti, it doesn't fill me with confidence.
Trump was voted on an American first ticket. He is delivering bigtime in America and he is set to win in 2020 as it stands.
Tarrifs are low in comparison to before. But trump wants a fair system not 10% one way and 2.5% the other way. I think that’s fair.
My concern is he thinks that's the way to then deal with Russia and China! On the surface he's got the ball rolling over NK credit for that.
So Cambridge Analytica, anything worthwhile to the Mueller investigation here ?
In terms of a response to military action, the vote in Russia is 105% for and 0% against. So??
The split is even on Military action in Syria both around 35% for and against
Should it involve engaging Russia it swings to 28%-48% against.
Sometimes I wish I lived in a little island in the middle of nowhere blissfully unaware and out of the way of these idiots - only the fact that I'd miss the City games that would keep me here !!
Proof appears to be the one thing our government finds difficult to provide. Once it's been established definitively it makes the justification for military action more reasoned.Again we are not being shown the proof, did Assad really gas his own people? Why? Why now?
I’m not convinced by a long chalk but if true I think we need to act and I agree with trump. Send a message. Be clear and straight forward. And I’m normally against military action.

Only yesterday he posted these tweets within an hour of each other. One problem is that Trump is not clear and straight forward. He watches something on Fox and sends off an angry tweet. Last week at a rally he said we’ve ( meaning USA ) beaten ISIS and will leaving Syria very shortly. Assad thinks thank god for that and throws barrels of nerve gas to take care of a stubborn pocket of resistance. Then Trump puts the Tele on, sees what‘s happened and tweets we’re going to blow something in Syria up. Maybe there will be conflict of some sort with Russia starting in Syria.
You agree with Trump. Which version? Last week‘s, today’s or tomorrow‘s Trump?
I just want him impeached, or if we make it to the mid terms, the republicans to suffer the worst mid terms in history. One semi literate idiot less on the world stage would certainly help.

Followed by a clear explanation from Huckerberry Sanders:
„Sanders indicated to reporters that missile strikes were not his only option.
"That's certainly one option, but that doesn't mean it's the only option or the only thing that the President may or may not do," she said.“
Clear as mud and leaving all options open to the President who had said during his campaign that he wouldn’t be as stupid as to tell the enemy what his actions would be. Although he just did in his first tweet.
Let’s see how he feels when he has watched Fox News today.
Arguably Macron is more radically distant from the French political tradition, than Trump is from the American!Nice to see Mr Macron cosying up to Mr Trump - who’d have thought it
Nah, just 'the day after' will suffice...Is it time to dig out my old copy of THREADS?
Is that the Sheffield development plan?Is it time to dig out my old copy of THREADS?
So we are fucked then.Nah, just 'the day after' will suffice...

is he? Trump has now said he didn't say when or even if the missiles are going to be fired. Who knows what is going to happen. The US - Russian crisis line about the Middle East is open and active. Depends what's on Fox News.
I thought he wanted to make the French Language more important again and lead the EU Reform with Merkel in the absence of the UK, which would suggest a more distant approach to the UK and a strengthening of French influence in Europe and the rest of the world whilst Britain try to find it's place in the world having left the EU.
Nope he’s just announced he has clear evidence of the chemical attack and is pushing for military action.
Odd that. Mr Corbyn just denounced violence on both sides (well I never) and seemed taken in by the Russian claim no chemical attack took place. Nothing changes there.
so should he of just denounced Hezbollah or Al Quaeda?
I’m talking about Syria when he refused to condemn a chemical attack on young children. The whole world condemns it but Corbyn. That’s fine but in the end if you vote for Corbyn look at the screaming children subjected to chemical warfare and consider the Corbyn utters not one word of condemnation - not a word.
