Having thought about it, never mind a country with the necessary infrastructure, I reckon London could host a World Cup all by itself.I think a good bases to start with ‘are a country capable of hosting the World Cup’ should be - do they have the infrastructure in place without having to spend billions.
If they don’t have the necessary stadia and transportation then they need to develop them and thus show they are sustainable before it is awarded.
“As always around a World Cup, there has to be some discussion of the off-the-field controversies, and here at Scandi 2034, you simply cannot enjoy the football without considering the plight of, um, well……some of the beers here are VERY expensive”A Scandinavian world cup

Yeah. We weren't awful last night. Just a bit insipid and lacking invention.I’m over last night now. Was furious at the time.
Nobody puts in 7 great performances to win it. A solid dispatch of Wales on Tuesday and it’s all good.

I am not too worried, but we need to drop Mount for starters. For me, Foden is far the superior player and has just as good an engine as Mount.
I would be inclined to play Rashford or Grealish instead of Saka and Foden in for Mount. If Walker is fit, him in for Trippier too.
He’ll have to wait in line behind Lampard.Southgate is in love with Mount - like Strachan and Telfer
Lampard and Telfer? Who knew. He’ll have to wait in line behind Lampard.

Mount holds it! Holds it! HOLDS IT!!
Yup. I really like TAA going forwards, but his awareness at that back isn't at all great and he does get caught out of position at times.Agreed. I really like Tripper but he was poor last night. Ben White could be an option as well. Played well for arsenal at RB by all accounts. I’d love to find a way of getting TAA in for his offensive skills but he just worries me defensively. If we were chasing the game you’d maybe gamble on getting him on
Did Messi just trip himself up and get a free kick
Messi celebration was a bit odd. Almost like a farewell. strange
Yup, you would have thought the ref would have confiscated their phones before they even kicked off wouldn't you. That well annoys me, instead of celebrating a wonderful goal, they stand there and hold their phones.
Looks like it's worth the dead workers
Yeah TAA would be ok vs. Wales but good teams will have a field day.Yup. I really like TAA going forwards, but his awareness at that back isn't at all great and he does get caught out of position at times.
I don't think Trippier has been very good in either of the first two games to be honest.
I like Ben White too
To be fair, Strachan hasn't picked Telfer for ages.Southgate is in love with Mount - like Strachan and Telfer
He's as thick as pig shit so it's not a surprise. Is this really something a 'so called' supporters group should be 'liking'?
Whether you agree with the knee or not, its clearly not about George Floyd. Embarrassing.
