Just looked it up. Hungary beat El Salvador 10-1. And it wasn't even a strong Hungary team

That was El Salvador. There's a really good article about that game.

Basically the team prepared horribly and had to ask Hungary for two footballs and they had none to train with. They had never seen Hungary okay beforehand.

Also, their FA dropped two fringe players from their squad so their FA suits could go on the plane!

Their coach was very hot inexperienced and set them up to play all out attack versus Hungary, which is why they lost ten one. The players basically sacked the coach for the final two games as came up with the tactics themselves.

I have no idea why I know any of this. I was born five years after this game took place.
