Fair play to you as well mate , you always concede when you've made a bad call
Saying I'm sorry shouldn't be a get out of jail card though. At some point you gotta learn and change the way you post in future.

Like I could say robins is a shit c**t manager and we are going down. Not rly ok to say yeah fair play I got that wrong after and then next season say something ridiculous again.

Not aimed at saddle brains can I point out!

I get that but for me there’s nothing more infuriating than our fans and some posters on here making a judgement call on a player and stubbornly sticking by it even if the player performs well . Makes them look rather stupid

If a player is playing badly, it’s perfect reasonable to express that you think so.

Some people are bad at their job in real life and get better.

Some people are good at their job and for whatever reason become bad.

Some people have off days.

Sheaf had some awful performances in the past and is now consistently above average.

O’Hare was excellent but since injury is understandably not as good (yet?)

Haji Wright came with a big reputation and price tag and has had some shocking bits of play. He’s done some good stuff but far too many things which are below expectation.

Each one of them we should support but by the same token fans have a right to express their frustration at players earning £££££ at this level.

Peace and love and all that.

Or running to the hills when upgrades and brilliant signings prove to be rather shit

The question of where people fit like the box to box midfielder fit in is raised and the answer is into the squad. You can’t get through a championship season with the same 11. You probably need 8 midfielders capable of starting.

Tend to agree with you. Best not to get as wound up as those posting the more outlandish views. A few exchanges are very entertaining; most not.

The recruitment team have been getting some shit this season, but I still maintain some of these players are actually a lot better than they are given credit for.

More questions on the management for me. We effectively threw the game yesterday with how we set up.
My position all along, we're missing something in the middle but I do think we've got a decent collection of players. How the manager has been setting them up however...

and Collins. Cos he is being picked over last years player.

Yes, for the moment, but he wouldn't have got in ahead of the Wilson that played last season. Otherwise you could probably make a case that this season's McNally would lose his place too, given Stoke's poor season so far.

Time will tell, but the only new player that would probably be picked ahead of any of last years team would be Van Ewijk.
I think this is right and it is a real problem. We have loads of players on long contracts and most people see this as a positive but I don't get it when the team is actually weaker.

They’ll get better over time and we will be able to just tinker here and there

I think we’ve got a decent group, albeit we need some additions in crucial areas

for me the management team are underperforming with the squad we’ve got

There's no guarantee they will and it gets harder for them to develop in a struggling team.

We need some clever signings in January in my view.

Did people really expect us to lost Vik and Gus and get better? Comparing McNally and Doyle is a bit silly cos we couldn’t afford them either.

We’ve improved the depth.

Walker -> Simms
Maguire -> Sakamoto
Rose -> Latibeaudiere
JWE -> Dasilva

Just looking at the first XI when we lost probably £50m of talent in four players is ridiculous. The aim was to give us a better match day squad and we clearly do. Who could we have brought on last season similar to O’Hare, Godden, Saka and Simms?

Next season as well, they won't be leaving unlike the loanees (some might see this as a bad thing!) so we can build on top of it, rather than constant firefighting.

We don't need any more new players to try and integrate, it's not the answer aside from a midfielder

We need some experience and someone to lead the side and higher quality in forward positions.
