I could never really understand why the players were getting so much flack when Adi and Robins took so long settling on a team and formation. I don't blame the managers for that but they were clearly scratching around in the dark for the first few months. It's not true though. Plenty of us could see what (especially) Wright & Simms were capable of, and were appalled by some of the brainless abuse they were getting.
If you'd taken a poll on this forum as to whether we should sign up Gyokeres after his loan spell, he'd have been sacked off. People are influenced too much by a few mistakes or clumsy moments, and can't seem to see obvious attributes.Genuinely, i found that hard to grasp
fair play to the ones that did
Seems I'm the femme fatale of Sky Blues TalkI'd always assumed it was Calista Flockheart but having googled what she actually looks like... I don't have a clue.
Visionary mateFrom Saddles absolute nightmare to potentially the best take in forum history?
I couldn't possibly say, I'll leave that up to others to decide.

Rotherham, no. Huddersfield was a game we should’ve won even if it was a dire game.Genuine Q
it was hard to see the positives at rotherham away and huddersfield at home, was it not?
Proof aplenty in loads of threads early last season. Nobody was pretending we were doing brilliantly, but lots of us were ready to defend the new signings, highlight their attributes and potential, and give the team time to come together.I personally think it’s really easy to say now that you believed in it all. I remember standing on a train platform away at Preston and thinking we’d fucked it all. Not saying you’re lying at all but I’d like to see some proof before you go all big dick on me
Look, I am mindlessly optimistic. I was right just this one time after Lord knows how many years of making a tit of myself. Don't take this away from me!I personally think it’s really easy to say now that you believed in it all. I remember standing on a train platform away at Preston and thinking we’d fucked it all. No, we were not. Plenty of sane people were calling out the hysterical bedwetting going onI like you Saddle. We were all thinking this at this point of last season. Don’t let these lot tell you it was always gonna come good
I don’t even think it’s this. I think even if you didn’t blindly believe robins is always right (which is fine), there was nowhere near enough material evidence to be ringing the alarms and frothing about wasted money. There were green shoots for sure and people were ridiculed for recognising them.It boils down to trusting the process and Robins’ judgement.
I am with you Vorderman is a ...sorry Carol but all that erm 'artwork' has the effect of Michael,,,grow old with grace girlPrefer Susie dent myself, each to their own
They’re a relatively young backline though and I expect theyll have learnt a lot from last season. Getting Binks permanently was a good signing. The only disappointment for me is Kitching - this will be a big season for his career. The only thing that slightly worries me is that our leaky defence of last season especially at set pieces hasn't been upgraded, although the keeper has (hopefully), so I would have liked some movement in that department that said theres still time and with our forward line and midfield upgrades I doubt the opposition will have time to creep into our half anyway
If only everyone was as perfect as you heySome people just stay immature as fans no matter how much they age. Always stressing, panicking, getting angry etc
Tutting and sighing all game long. Calling time on a player after 1 game etc
It's not excusable as just passion imo. People need to try to learn from mistakes.
If only everyone was as perfect as you hey?
Shocking recruitment by the club. King needs to address this

it could be worse......................... you could have to drive home with them as well !! hahahhatbf it's f*cking awful sitting or standing next to the kind of people they were describing. Hard to ignore for a whole game.

He Is Doing Fine. Why The Capitals?
haji wright won’t make it sadly he’s not upto it
Would happily drive most of the shit we’ve signed back to their former clubs, with the only exceptions perhaps being Sakamoto and Latibeaudiere who haven’t done much wrong and Binks. The rest of them can all fuck off.
Has to be said , this team are nowhere near last seasons. The spirit isn't there anymore. And I don't just mean Vic and Gus. They don't look like they have the will to fight
Thats nothing we paid 7 million for a seaside donkey
dearie me ladsSomething irritates me is Robins said on Monday that Yamamoto and Wright were struggling to settle.
Those are quite mild examples tbfdearie me lads
Yamamoto nearly made me spit my drink over my laptopdearie me lads
This is an absolute corkerCan’t believe that our crack recruitment department of Robins mate from St Albans and some bloke from AFC Wimbledon don’t seem to be up to scratch.
Well Collins, Moore and Wilson all got dropped due to a few mistakes and clumsy moments. If you'd taken a poll on this forum as to whether we should sign up Gyokeres after his loan spell, he'd have been sacked off. People are influenced too much by a few mistakes or clumsy moments, and can't seem to see obvious attributes.
I wouldn't have predicted that Gyok would become the most sought-after striker in Europe, but he always looked to me like the kind of player we'd needed up front for years.
Now say the opposite of everything you just said!I've had a few terrible takes but think that takes the biscuit
Ha ha that will teach me loldearie me lads
