Great day out, hope yours was similar. We managed to sneak two litres of spiced rum in between us in coke bottles. Saved a fortune on the day although even cans of coke to dilute at nearly £3 a go adds up.

Yes 100% agree, peoples emotions are very high at the moment, as a parent I can't comprehend how you can't drop your daughter off at a summer play scheme and this happens, just hope they and the brave helpers all pull through which is the priority. Sad times.

Exactly, it's far from just the physical injuries they received too. Its the other trauma that the poor kids, people who tried to stop it, families, emergency workers etc all have.
I know it's the paramedics jobs but what they saw and dealt with will haunt them

Not sure how true but I read that one of the adults who was stabbed and in critical condition ran over with a hammer to try and stop him.
I know it's easy to say in hindsight and not being there, I'd like to say the same that id have taken him down etc but unless you're faced with somebody intent to kill like that you (and I) will never know.
As for the armed police, yeah just a bullet between the eyes after getting as much information as possible about why he did it.
