I think it’s down to what the CPS think will lead to a conviction. Although anyone who watches shows like 24 Hours in Police Custody will have little faith in the CPS being up to the job

To be fair despite the limited resources if he had worn a British bulldog T Shirt and shouted some EDL nonsense he would be tried and prosecuted by now

'Baiting People with Gotcha Questions'

would be more accurate.

Don't pretend you're open to having your position on any subject challenged or altered. It's nauseating.

I’ve just seen this and frankly I think it’s nonsense

I’ve stated that Islamaphobia is a rather stupid term that should not actually exist as Islam is a belief system across many races and the Islamic State is brutal, evil, misogynistic, racist and against any LGBT community. Ironically it’s pretty much an identical philosophy to the belief systems preached by Tommy Robinson - and these things should be discussed

Interesting read,7000 police officers on "double bubble" to police the Carnival today.
Paid for by the organisers hopefully. Some of us are old enough to remember when people would lose their minds when about 10 people a year would be caught at reading with weed and wanted the festival to have its license revoked

Guessing it's millions paid by the tax payers.

The GLA fund the Carnival because it's a celebration of diversity...the taxpayer funds the policing which is circa 13 million pounds per year.

I mean they were decent, but to still be celebrating 15 years after they won BGT, at those costs probably time to knock it on the head.

It's terrorism and needs combating as such. Ignoring though that we have many, many more Muslims in this country who live peacefully and disavow the likes of IS.

no they don’t.

when these terrorist attacks occur. you won’t hear the Muslims condemning it

you won’t see Muslims taking to the streets saying it’s not in the name of our religion etc.

They are very quiet

however when something happens to their community they come in force

double standards

I mean your mind can’t be changed so debating this is futile but:

actions speak louder than words

you never see condemnation by Muslims on Twitter for murders and tbf same applies on here by some. the silence is deafening

quick to jump on when mosques are attacked and get 117 million in the process but when people die at the hands of terrorists rarely if anything is said

Moving the goalposts as per. What is your answer? Kick them all out? Or just ban any more from entering?

5 times now on this thread you’re asked what the answer is

does that mean you agree there is an issue?

as I’ve said, the damage is done unfortunately. The uk has turned into a cesspit with knife crime, shootings, criminals getting away with crime

we all know the reason why. some will stand up and some will bury their heads in the sand

prime example. You have Labour mp’s praising Notting Hill and using to race bait but no condemnation of the stabbings. why is that?

I keep asking what the answer is because nobody ever seems to suggest anything aside from Saddle saying we should immediately halt immigration.

Waste of time talking to you on this really

prime example is sweden

very left wing country. Opened borders to mass immigration

now it has the highest rape numbers in europe

no go area for women at night

once you let the numbers in, you have no way of dealing with the issue

Where are all the emergency court hearings and exemplary sentences? The pictures of the convicted plastered throughout the media?
Has anyone been arrested? That’s a key step before you can lock people up!

Even if they have unless they are pleading guilty then I can’t imagine these are quick or easy cases and you want to be certain you’ve done everything you can to secure a conviction.

The rioters could be fast tracked because the evidence meant they have guilty pleas. And obviously there was a motive to fast track things and send a message to stop others from rioting. You get decades for murder and it’s clearly not working as a deterrent so not sure fast tracking would have much impact.

Maybe a message should be sent to stop stabbings.

Oh dear, you are trying to justify the unjustifiable.
If they had video footage of the rioters, why not for that hotbed of crime known as the Notting Hill Carnival. I’m not really talking about the murders, one of whom has been arrested. More about the nearly 60 assaults on emergency service workers and the 334 arrests.
The motive you describe is one rule for some, and a completely different rule for others.
