Boddy
Fisher
Seppala

I have no idea what you are trying to say but if it keeps you miserable and pessimistic then fill your boots

Why, after 10 years, are we still no closer to being in control of the pitch we play on?

Joy Seppala was quoted in her interview with a fan several times as saying continual improvement each year was the aim. What improvements do the club think they’ve achieved this season?

Sepalla has also previously stated Premier League football is the ambition. Is this still the case and what is the plan to deliver it aside from hoping for a miracle?

Hi all,

Apologies for the very short notice but the chair of the supporters forum has secured an on-line meeting with Dave and his team on Tuesday the 30th August at 5.45pm. The meeting will be on Microsoft Teams. I will send out the meeting details on Monday.

Can you let me have any agenda items you want to discuss on the evening?

Why can't you tell us how much we got for Dominic Hyam.

Can you ask DB whether he’s doing this forum 2 days before the transfer window shuts so that he doesn’t have to answer questions about Vik leaving on deadline day?

I was reading through the thread thinking exactly the same.
Tuesday: reassuring fans everything is ok
Weds: Vik mysteriously missing from the squad
Thurs: he completes a move elsewhere and we run out of time to replace him

You’ll have to talk me through how speaking with supporters groups is a bad thing

In case @Sky Blue Pete is tempted to use this excuse to skip over this line of questions on Tuesday - the lack of a coherent plan/leadership on the new stadium ‘project’ is an embarrassment, and something we should be chipping away at in a public forum, not glossing over.

It needs to be asked. Particularly in the context of having to sell a player for a couple of million to get by. How exactly do they expect to fund a stadium when money is so tight they have to sell a player under market value just to keep going.

Could you ask whether the club has received any substantial funds (above 100k) physically in to its account in the last 6 months from the owners.

Secondly have the owners paid any liabilities directly for the club in that period.

Third have the owners made any additional new loans to the club in that period

Doubt you will get a straight or any answer above the standard "the owner has been very supportive " but hey ho.

If you get that answer just ask in what way exactly please explain how.

We all know the club must be for sale. We haven’t had the standard “Contrary to recent reports in the media, We are in it for the long haul and the club is not for sale” statement.

In which case, he needs to go away and get the answer.
What he does seem to be responsible for is the rental deal at the CBS. As that has been agreed for a time frame that, ostensibly, allows us to move into a new ground at the end of it, what's Plan B if and when that does not happen...?

The answer will be corporate waffle

In reality Seppala doesn’t care about 8 years time. By then she’s nearing 70. She’s just tracking wasps and the admin possibility

Colin will have asked for a forum and Dave has agreed. Simple as

Because I’m not a dick! There is a way to behave as you know and I have a level of maturity and respect in the way I deal with people that means there are certain ways of asking and types of questions that I will not ask

With the greatest respect Pete, if you're unwilling to ask the difficult questions out of fear of upsetting Boddy then your involvement is entirely pointless - as are the supporters forums.

To be honest it’s pointless not getting to ask questions of the person with actual executive authority. Well unless you’re a 10 year old YouTuber

Sky Blues Talk forum questions

Overall direction of the club

Is Ms Seppalla actively trying to sell the club and was DH sold to cover running costs

Are you expecting to sell any other player before the end of the transfer window?

Have there been any offers of investment or interested parties in purchasing the club?

What’s the overall plan? investment at cbs or new stadium at Warwick university?

This window has not seen incremental improvement, is it even possible with the current investment? Minus 111k over the last 5 years

Can you understand why supporters feel let down in this window after supporting the club in record numbers with the purchase of season tickets? Do you feel you have lost their trust? How can you get it back?

What are your short term, medium term and long term aspirations for the club?

Do you agree that 12th place in the championship is the ceiling for the club in the current climate?

New stadium / cbs issues

Is there any meaningful progress on the new stadium? Last update was March 21

What could you or the club done in hindsight to have avoided the pitch fiasco and do you expect a points deduction?

Same question but regarding executive box holders for Preston game?

How’s are the repairs being funded?
How is the new pitch being funded and when are you expecting to make an agreement on the timescale?

Away tickets

How is the away ticket allocation scheme going? Are we maximising the numbers in a fairer way? Any changes envisaged?

Personal

What are your current biggest challenges? What could the club be doing better?

Thanks everyone
Pete

That’s not the same and you know it. It’s the difference between asking

1- when will you fuck off and
2 - what are your biggest challenges and what is the plan to overcome them

Just crazy

Yeah even if he had the answers he wouldn't give them anyway. But the tiptoeing around Boddy and asking completely mundane questions regarding trivial matters and lapping up his every word - i.e. Brentford model/Robins has the final say on transfers - is just a waste of everyone's time.

If these meetings are to still go ahead the difficult questions should be tabled regardless otherwise frankly they're not representatives of the thoughts, mood and feelings of the fans.

What’s the point speaking to anyone if you just want to tell them to fuck off? I’m sure Mark and I could meet joy with some
notice and I did communicate during the pitch situation but that was a club issue not an owner one

The commercial strategy at the club is completely non-existant - why wasn't this maximised last season given it's a vital source of revenue for the club?

Sorry Pete but the pitch is very much an owner issue. It’s the main issue with the owners. Ten years ago they said that the Ricoh wasn’t up to scratch and started a plan to get a better deal for the club. The fact we’re no further on after a decade is a damning indictment on the quality of strategy and execution of the board.

I've not said you should tell them to fuck off. But asking a question then accepting vague and delusive answers is pointless. I'd like to see more pressure applied to answers that aren't deemed good enough.
