Just like certain people that wanted a remain vote are doing now?Farage said in advance that 52:48 would be unfinished business. He is an expert at silly childish behaviour along with BoJo and I have no doubt they would be making stupid protests if remain had won.
You and millions of others must have imagined it. Tony says so. He is an expert you knowYou should have seen the hit my pension funds took!
Maggie Mk2 :dead:We hail the May Queen...
Juncker should have gone years ago. But he wants to stay. Who has a big enough say to get rid of him?
Like you say 48% is amazing. Many of the Germans have had enough. And it won't take much trouble to change it again.
Of course many are not impressed with Brexit. Where is the money going to come from that we presently pay in? How big is the UK market to the Germans? And Juncker wants to charge us for selling to the EU. So how much is that going to cost German industries?
Why would the Germans be impressed with Brexit?
The people I have spoken to are not even calculating the effects of GDP or the Uk's contribution, they just think we are mad and are amazed at BoJo and Farage legging it. TBF a couple of right wingers have said "thank you". Not surprised at that though.
I don't think Boris would, I think he wanted remain to win.Farage said in advance that 52:48 would be unfinished business. He is an expert at silly childish behaviour along with BoJo and I have no doubt they would be making stupid protests if remain had won.
Very dignified speech from leadsom in defeat. Fair play to her.
I didn't want may personally but hey she will still be good if we all back her and get behind this great country. We need to re unite. The 48% have a voice and may is one of those 48% so here it to re uniting this country and may said brexit means brexit so fair play to Mrs may and let's do this.
Says she could become PM within days.
So the leading outers have done one and it's left to a remainer to actually take us through the process of exiting?! What a mess!
Watch the exchange rate improve. PS FTSE 100 up 1% today, FTSE 250 up 2.5% today. Crisis what crisis.Markets love certainty.

Tony will be back when he works out a way of telling those of us who say that most of it is to do with the uncertainty and remind us it is much worse now than 8 years agoHere is it and just for you Tony.

Markets love certainty.
And Tony the drama queenRemain Queen more like!
May will be Prime Minister by Wednesday afternoon.
I know it's only small increases but the point is when things get sorted markets and currency's increase over time.
It went up today purely just because leadsom pulled out the race so this is how it works.
What on earth happened in this world where I read that and think 'thank God for that'?!?:depressed:
Only one in the running really. I see she's started putting out the same old crap already about being a party for all and not just the privileged. How many others have said that, on BOTH sides.May will be Prime Minister by Wednesday afternoon.
They're now talking about not allowing Corbyn on the ballot
It is unknown how many Tories that voted Corbyn in. All you had to do to get a vote was pay a couple of quid. Labour had record amounts of people joining to be able to vote in the next leader. And Corbyn went from total outsider to favourite in days. He only got as far as the vote as a couple of Labour MP's wanted one more to join in with the ballot. And there was plenty of items online saying about paying a couple of quid to stitch the vote up.Then over with the opposition you have Eagles and her cronies ignoring the will of her party members. They're now talking about not allowing Corbyn on the ballot even though their own legal advisors said he had a right to be on there.
there was undoubtedly a bit of that but 10,000 people mobilised in London alone last week to support him at less than 24 hours notice so he's definitely appealing to a lot of people. It is unknown how many Tories that voted Corbyn in. If Labour hold a leadership contest without him on the ballot they'll be finished for a lot of people.
So what do you suggest Astute? Do we start not counting certain votes? And how many of them were the same Tories trying to keep him in?
Don't but it myself. And anyway I think now labour ousting him would be better for the tories than him staying as it will definitely split the party though in all likelihood it will split anyway. And how many of them were the same Tories trying to keep him in?
I'm not buying the idea that he only won because of some Tory masterplan to vote him in.

Wonder how it will play out. If they let him on the ballot he'll more than likely win. He's polling way higher now with Labour members than when he won the biggest landslide ever in a leadership contest. Would the Blairites walk? Unless they defect to the tories it would be career ending for a lot of them without a major party machine behind them. Have seen a few rumours of them being joined by the more centrist tories to form a new party. That could be interesting but surely just rumours. If Labour hold a leadership contest without him on the ballot they'll be finished for a lot of people.

Sure I'm not alone in wondering what the point of voting is when the results seem to get ignored if the 'right' result isn't achieved.
My wife was a lifelong Liberal supporter until two elections ago. They changed suddenly so much that their values were unrecognisable. And she will never vote for them again. Her trust in them has gone.Liberals are crying out for a few left of centre politicians...
Tragedy is, if the progressive elements just co-operated, they could probably live happily ever after, and keep the Tories out more often than not.
