People whinging that Peter Kay has cancelled his tour and all work commitments due to personal/family reasons!

Give the guy a break must be very serious!
Saw people moaning about that, pretty selfish. Why can't people just think, lets face it if he's cancelled all work (not just the tour) for the next 2 years its something serious.

Glad I made a half arsed attempt at getting tickets now! It’s clearly serious otherwise he wouldn’t have cancelled

Yet some on Twitter are saying 'I hope it's not serious.'

He's cancelling for the next two years. How can it not be anything BUT serous?

Probably a guess. What else could it be apart from a long term / incurable illness to a close family member to cancel everything for 2 years?

Well yup. Sounds like you say like a long term illness. Why else would you cancel everything for two years?

Can only assume he is taking time off to care and spend time with the family member.

Christmas adverts for stuff you use every day anyway. I just don't get it.

Yep sure, advertise mince pies, or party food with a twist, but Flora, or Hellmann's mayonnaise?

Surely if you use mayonnaise regularly you are just going to continue using mayonnaise. If you don't really use mayonnaise I don't see why you would get some in especially just for Christmas.

Is a Christmas advert for mayonnaise going to work?

I get the manufacturer's stance. They advertise their product anyway and thinking as it is Christmas they will mention Christmas, but it costs an awful lot to make ads and I don't see why they can't just use their current ad. As I say, I don't think people are going to go out and buy mayonnaise because it is Christmas are they?

Anyway, amongst all the pigs in blankets and specialist vol au vents and turkey crowns, it all seems rather odd to have Christmas Flora and Christmas mayonnaise when they are just normal Flora and normal mayonnaise.

Leading on from Christmas Adverts, perfume and after shave adverts.

Most of them seem to have been dreamt up by kids with strange ideas, none of them make any sense at all. It's just random shit, then they say a perfume name at the end.

That Jonny Depp one that's been dug up every xmas and fathers day for the past 3 years or more is a great example. Wtf is that all about?!

Somebody must have been on Heroin when they thought it up.

It's like they asked him to do the most unrelated stuff he can think of.

Additional fees on tickets! Looking at cirque de soleil tickets and they start at 54 quid but they add on 90p facility fee, £1 cirque fee and £2.55 fulfilment fee per ticket! What the fuck are they and why are they charging it!

And not getting the fees back when something gets cancelled.

Yep advertising is such bullshit especially fashion and perfume - 'you can be unique'. Yeah just like everyone else......

Car adverts are all such cliches that I haven't the foggiest idea of the make.

Being accused of being a Man City fan whilst walking the dog this morning in my vintage CCFC bobble hat.

Fucking red-shite gimp.......an everton fan would at least have the good grace to enquire & not presume.....
did you at least remind him that 'you' are top of the league?

people who put the emphasis on the wrong word in a sentence.

eg. someone at work, when talking about 'The Royale Family' (TV show) keeps saying 'The Royale Family".
Stop it.

I used to be quite ambivalent regarding social media, but that has changed over the last year or so. I can't stand these, self righteous, attention seeking, conceited, halfwits who seem to be the norm on may sites.

Hold on a sec, I'm just trying to upload an arty picture of my £9 coffee from Starbucks and tagging it with "keeping it real, pray for harrambe"

There's a dog tied up in the back yard of a house near me that I swear has been barking non-stop for 3 days.
Well I can't be sure if it barks all night, but it is barking when I go to sleep and when I wake up in the morning.
I've called the police, animal welfare, everyone, no-one will do anything about it.
It would be a good torture for prisoners, just play a tape of a dog barking for 24 hours a day until they beg for it to stop, then they will tell you anything you want to know.

The one I hate is when they enumerate all the reasons you should buy their product and then end it with "because you're worth it".

Even worse than that though is when they advertise jewelry (always for men to buy for women) and they say "isn't she worth it?"
Well she may not be worth it, how do they know?

Buying a 3 way plug adaptor from a Tesco Garage, smelling something burning to find out it is brown and melted and would probably have caught fire. Good job we were at home and hadn't gone out!

No to pay for the food at xmas now we will all starve in the gibbo house and being honest it is a general thing as some of the staff have no money and had allowed for it to wait until you have done all the work and then move the goalposts is cheap I don't think ups would gave missed the money, to have got the vouchers you have to have done seven days a week for the last five weeks

Jesus, yeah it takes the piss a bit if they were promised before Christmas.

You will have to think of something where when they ask you for something or to help out you say to put it through the system and you will process it.

This is a council noise nuisance issue - ring the council - they will tell you you to monitor it - then they will send the boys around - thye dont want to get involved but if you regsiter a complaint they should - no dog should bark continually - it is stressed
