This didn’t age wellIf we are resigned to having to retain one of Waghorn or Walker I think I’d take Waghorn.
based on the footage we have seen so far on tour he looks like he’s a popular member of the group, one of the bigger characters, and probably a better squad member. Add to that his experience then he probably just shades it for me.
Completely agree. Especially with Tavares in the wings as wellIs it really worth binning off Walker and Waghorn just so we can get another 3rd choice striker in on loan? Especially when they both know the squad/staff and would hopefully have a point to prove. Understand if we need to get rid of one to strengthen elsewhere but trading one for Plange on loan as has been mooted seem like a bit of a waste of time.
Seen that earlier, doesn’t work out for every Championship superstar. Least he’ll always have his place in the Championship HoF with Dwight GayleAdam Armstrong available for loan out by Southampton. Any takers?

Looks like we've missed out on another possible target for some on here...
<edit> Embedding the link doesn't work. <tl/dr> Jack Wilshire has retired from football, aged 30.
We don't need him to be first choice. We are saying he is more than adequate as a third choice ahead of a kid from the Premier leagueYes is my opinion. Walker scoring two goals in a pre season friendly won’t convince me he is good or has the ability over a season to be first choice forward in the championship.

I hope he isn’t trying to convince you or I. I hope he’s trying to convince robins and vivesh that he intends to turn his career around. I doubt personally he can or will do that but would be pleased if he does.He is not trying to convince you or I, he is trying to convince himself and the coaching team. We are not looking at a first team starter as we have Vik and Godden, we need a good back up and I believe the players we currently have are good enough. Walker is a confidence player, as we all know and the great thing is his team mates are helping him. As for Waghorn he has always been a favourite of mine since he was a younger player and I know he can do the business. He is also a motivater and he can see how he encourages his team mates and younger players.
So if walker scores goals you want us to offload him to sign someone who is probably less experienced and is a gamble? Makes sense...It’s likely Walker is on our books for another 12 months I’m not his biggest fan for me he has never really fitted our system of play but he is decent enough to be part of our squad third/fourth choice for a season, if he starts banging goals in in the friendlies and improves his team play that will be a bonus or someone might come in and take him on loan again his wage is already factored in to our budget so although it could be used elsewhere that’s how it is for now same situation with Waghorn really still time one or both could move on my guess there will be a lot of loan movement in the EFL up to 1st of September.
I do get the point that if we're not going to use him as first choice, though, he's using up budget inefficiently.
Where have I said that, don’t make things up it was just an analysis of what might happen I have doubts Walker will jump over Gyokeres or Godden on the striker pecking order but if he does a bonus. So if walker scores goals you want us to offload him to sign someone who is probably less experienced and is a gamble? Makes sense...

Apparently a lot of championship teams are in for Manchester United's left back Alvaro Fernandez. Expected to be available on loan after they signed Tyrell Malacia
Walker is 32, and currently third choice (at best) for a team that occasionally only plays 1 upfront. By the end of this season he could very easily find himself fourth or even fifth choice, and yet he is supposedly one of the higher earners. Is it really worth binning off Walker and Waghorn just so we can get another 3rd choice striker in on loan? I think you meant Waghorn, but get what you mean, we have signed a young centre- forward from Wigan and there’s this Cashman, squads evolve all the time some come good some don’t at our level there are always hopefuls & gambles.Walker is 32, and currently third choice (at best) for a team that occasionally only plays 1 upfront. Personally I'd sooner off load him for free and utilise the wage to bring in someone who will actually compete for a starting place in an area of the pitch where we need strengthening.
Allen stayed, worked hard, and has become an average squad player on probably a fairly modest salary. Walker was meant to be one of our best strikers who was signed for a handsome fee (for us) and has bumbled around before going on loan and failing massively there at a lower level.
I am not saying he cannot turn it around, and I know you love Walker, but the two players aren't really comparable the way you think you are.

This is good news right?Nixon reporting Burnley have moved on from O’Hare, that’s now him and Hamer who clubs don’t think are worth the money. Which leaves Gyokeres if we need to sell someone as skybluebeliever has said

Or they’ll get us promoted and sign longer deals?Problem with OHare and Hamer is their contract runs out in 2024 so won’t get as good money for them next summer.
If O’Hare scores the number of goals he should plus assists we’d get double well Joy wouldProblem with OHare and Hamer is their contract runs out in 2024 so won’t get as good money for them next summer.
This guy and Teden Mengi both defenders haven’t gone on tour with Man United too with loan moves in the offingAnother suggestion for this young centre back is Di’shon Bernard of Man United, was at Hull last season, would be achievable loan to permanent too given he’s 21 and probably not going to make it there.
The obligatory video calling him the future of football with loud music
Whole seasonWas Bernard at Hull from January or before Hull certainly improved second half of the season.
