I think we needed to sell one player that summer (SISU were still here ).. We ended up selling Hyam once O'Hare got injured. As I recall Hamer was way out of form early on that season, picking up 2 red cards before October. My bet was, a move broke down for him in the summer. He got his head together by November though. I have no doubt O'Hare would of gone to Burnley had he not got injured, but probably didn't want too (It wasn't exactly a dream move) Hyam certainly didn't want to leave.I don’t think during the Burnley saga O’Hare ever speculated he wanted away all the talk came from the Burnley end and their gobby manager Vince Kompany COH spent much of the summer at various festivals & venues often going on stage yahooing with his mate Tom Grennan.
Remember at that time there was no Doug King, he ain’t been here a year yet just those two arseholes Sappala & toxic Tim Fisher trying to cash in on him.
