I'll tell you why, there are still individuals who in my opinion see the Trust as a vehicle to get onto the board or something and suck up in their own way to the one who could make that happen which is a bloody shame because there are others who do and try to do splendid work in their own time too.
In my opinion this meeting shouldn't happen as respect to our suffering fans and football club

It probably won't achieve anything but isn't it worth trying?
You never know, we might learn something or get an answer to a question we didn't expect.
Fair play to the trust, it's worth a go.

You may not like or believe what Fisher has to say, but to deny him the right to speak would be ridiculous.

What I don't like is this trust members and "invited" guests only thing. Why ? and who qualifies as an invited guest ? Should be a fully open forum yes with a ticket and in a venue large enough to suit, the Albany is rather small. Plenty of larger venues it could be held in.

It's only a couple of quid to join the trust, so it's open to anybody really.

I'd rather people listened to what he had to say and refused to move from a topic until he comprehensively answered the question asked rather than skirt round the issue.
This is as good a chance as it gets to find out what they have planned for us, we may end up none the wiser but it's worth trying to find out.

So just sign up with the trust then for an invite. If people really feel aggrieved and want to quiz Fisher is the quid to sign up going to stop them?

I am pretty sure if giving questions in advance to people at the trust they will try and ask them if people don't have the internet.

I'm not really sure what people expect? If people really want to go and quiz Fisher, the Trust have put the option there.

They aren't going to go and pick somebody up from their door step because they can't drive, or send out VHS copies if people can't use the internet.

I don't think Henry Winter would be very pleased to be described as a Daily Mail journalist!! Seriously though, would be great to get some one like him or David Conn there.

If there are people who really want to put their point to Fisher, they will know about it. I doubt there is a man living in the countryside with no internet who doesn't read CCFC news in the paper, who doesn't speak to other fans or go to games who has a burning question for fisher.

If someone is a member the Trust have that persons details, address etc.. If they allow anyone to just attend and something happened then how do you trace an individual?
Am sure the Trust will allow none members to attend if they know who they are or have attended meetings in the past, but SBT members should be given priority.

I would imagine Fisher has asked for certain measures to be put in place.

Yes....don't forget his 3 year plan to get us in the championship and to develop an academy that is the cornerstone of our club. Someone ought to ask him what he has to say about those remarks. An utter failure. Next he'll say he wants promotion back to league 1 straight away.

If you dont join, you cant go to the meeting. It's a bloody quid handed over and that's it, you aren't really committing to anything by doing it.

Surely anybody can understand that it's a trust event? I disagree with a fair bit the trust say and do but at the end of the day it's a quid to be a member.

If people really want to go and quiz Fisher then give them a quid and go.

I used to listen to Shane O'Connor's interviews with TF on the way to work in the morning. I didn't think he gave him a particularly hard time. I don't think Shane was a City fan ( not saying you have to be to do a good interview), and I don't thing he fully understood some of the issues in the way that a true fan who has lived though this mess does. The only person on the radio who I felt really went for him was Laura Bailey, who is a City fan , who interviewed TF after the cup exit against Worcester.
I think you need someone tuned in to ask the supplementary questions that need asking. If each fan is given only time for one question Fisher can bat it away and the next question on a different topic is asked.
If, for example, someone asks a question about the site of any new stadium, Tim's standard reply is probably going to be we are still looking, it's very difficult, commercial sensitivity, blah, blah, blah. If this is just left at that he gets away with things.
The supplementary questions could be about;

• Freedom of info. enuiries that show no discussions with LAs have taken place
• The fact Anderson said at the Trust meeting last year " I think they (Sisu) were looking at one site but not any more." Only for TM to say later that the BPA was their preferred option but they had another site in mind.

There needs to be someone there to keep pressing on each issue raised so that the lies and inconsistencies are exposed. Radio interviewers have let him off to easily. I hope the Trust have someone lined up who is tuned in and won't let a topic go until Fisher has been made to sweat and has been exposed as the charlatan the undoubtedly is.
