Should have sacked him a while back. I think he has been so lucky with the players he has had at his disposal and that saved him. His tactics seem baffling at times though.
I was watching England last year and we were full of very speedy players and looked a real threat. Now all of a sudden we look pedestrian.

Poor team selection (players either out of form, not picked at club level or past it at international level), no plan to do anything other than try and stifle game (even after going 1 down we did little to try and get back into the game) and little passion.
I think the players will lead a revolt against Southgate as he has lost their buy-in to his negative approach.

That’s the truth. Even though in the past England rather negative the players had a good spirit and managed to get results and good tournament finishes. Now there is no spirit or desire to give good performances or grind out the results
