Really hope we're not outnumbered but ticket sales still look really poor. What does lower tier hospitality hold 500?

We have already outsold them. I'd estimate around 5000 home tickets sold.

Majority will buy tomorrow or on the day for it.

Feel sorry for the club - priced fairly, interest just isn’t there - Poor showing from our fans

Is it?

Non league team, early Jan when many people don't have a pot to piss in

Plus its on telly and going to be pissing down which will put many off

Perfect for an early night out watching the match then off for a few shandy’s after the game. Not sure why people can’t be arsed for £13 for a night out?

I do wonder sometimes if some of the city support isn't really that ingrained with the club.

Heard it all …..It’s parking, mates not going so I’m not sitting on my own bollocks, it’s raining, it’s little Wrexham innit?, I’m skint (but will be out that night drinking Stella at £4.50 a pint), kick off times a bit late, leave it till last minute to decide, going out with missus even though game finishes 7.15pm excuse, excuse, excuse fucking excuse….

Well I have often said that in a cup competition Coventry City are capable of losing to the Southam and District Girls Under 13s 3rd team. And when we are subject to a giant killing we don’t just lose narrowly or unluckily, like everyone else does, we tend to get outclassed. So the prospect of yet another humiliation in front of nearly 5000 Welsh enjoying their best ever day out hasn’t exactly energised me. Luckily the wife has intervened and ordered me to take her to London for the day, with no chance of a reprieve.
Anyway, that’s my excuse.

Actually for me it’s a game I can’t be arsed to go to - simple as that

tbf i think i'd rather 3 pints of stella than watch our reserves lose to a non league team

Like I said earlier in this thread, there's a big excuse culture within the wider fanbase/the city itself.

Last week it was too expensive. They've made the game incredibly affordable and no one wants to go.

The other week it's to do with a lack of atmosphere and away support.

Years back it was because there was nowhere to drink before the game. There's plenty of options now.

A lot of people in this city won't go unless they are given a free ticket, we are playing at Wembley or it's a fiver in the JPT.

Look at Wasps. Came in and gave tickets away and the people of Coventry jumped all over it. The moment they took them away and the bandwagon finished, people didn't want to know.

I've been critical of the points system but if we ever managed to get into the PL, the points amassed will add up and getting a ticket away at Villa will be difficult for people who don't go to games like this.

My nephew purchased 3 adult tkts online the other day but my boy (u13) wants to go now.
Can't buy a child tkt online without an adult tkt.
What chance do you think of capitalising on the £2 offer on matchday if we present the e-ticket as proof of adult purchase on the gate or tkt office?
Have emailed and rang ticket office but surprise surprise - No reply.
