I was there , I sat there and immediately thought terrible defending but how on earth has he been beaten there, he was running as if it was going wide , he let the ball go in .

At this time RCC seems to be the better of the two but we haven't seen Burge for a while, I also would have preferred a slightly more experienced keeper.

The reason he was running as if it was going wide was because it clearly was going wide. It spun and changed direction on the bounce and snuck inside the post

It's my opinion and I'll stand by it. RCC is a prick, and he's fucking overrated.
If it was going wide then it was only marginally going wide and he should not have taken the risk. Poor goalkeeping.

Yea that's a valid criticism, that's nothing to do with positioning though which is what people were talking a lot of shite about earlier in this thread.
He's still a much better keeper than Burge, so whilst he may have been culpable for some goals (imo only the Fleetwood goal is a bad error, a few others he may have been able to do better but they weren't bad errors) calls for him to be dropped in favour of Burge is absurd.
It's reminiscent of when Murphy was first choice and a few were calling for Dunn to be given a go, Dunn then played a few games and was a disaster nearly every time he pulled on the shirt.

Last Saturday RCC was easily man of the match. He performed excellently and made crucial saves. Without his contribution we would have lost.
It's clear that league one players lack consistency - it's why they are where they are. Also he by goalkeeping standards is young. In addition he is in a poorly performing team.
Despite his youth and inexperience I could at the stroke of a hat name at least 10 keepers who have been worse than him in my time as a fan.
We have huge issues as a team. The goalkeeping issue is low on the list.
Burge, for the record, from what of seen of him is diabolical. Talking about coaching goalkeepers - he look like an outfield player giving it a go. He's truly abysmal.
His one go in goal this season is evidence if that.
