Would Venus have to even step aside if new owners came in? he's only an interim anyway.

Any time frame on this rumor again?, because I'm going to need plenty of tissues and incognito mode put on my browser after all the wanking.

Apparently it's a takeover, Venus will be gone as they want there own man in with some cash. Stumbling block is the ground as the council are holding out for more than is being offered
I believe wasps are not the stumbling block
It will be a major investment

The ground is owned by the council. WASP's own the lease. WASP's are prepared to let the lease go. So the council need to buy back the lease and then sell the ground 15 to 20 mill I am led to believe.
Please be aware that this information is second hand and I am not intentionally leading anyone on. My question was why would they keep Venus until Jan and invest when a new manager would have no time to strengthen? I got a shrug of the shoulder.
I really hope that this is the news we have been waiting for. I will be as gutted as the rest of you if this does not happen

Much as I'd love to believe you, it just sounds too implausible to me, even if all followed logically.

Running with it for a bit, why would the council need to buy back the lease anyway?!?
