Over racist? As apposed to slightly racist? Racism is racism. I don't think there's a grading system for racism is there?
Overt. Not over.

This isn't an EU referendum vote it's a vote for a President of a country. Again this is an irrelevant argument. It does show significant extremism in France and a polarised country. Not surprising given the national debt in France exceeds the uk. As indeed does Italy, Germany and Spain.
Yes, extraordinary that a basically NF party in one of the major European countries should make it to the second round and then gain 35% of the votes.
One commentator has described the Le Pen vote as being a bigger seismic statement that the brexit vote.
Worrying times for the EU, following on from what happened in Austria a few months ago where the right wing anti-immigration Freedom Party gained a staggering 47% of the vote and came within a whisker of winning and then again in Holland where the ultra-right PVV became the second largest party.
Le Pan Sr polled 17.6%, his Daughter 34.5%,, she is 49 I would guess she will have another go next time.
After which there is Marion Maréchal-Le Pen, Marine Le Pen's niece who at 28 is already a Deputy in Vacluse, (Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur )
Le Pen fought on Frexit and drop the Euro... plus security... Macron fought for the EU with reform and liberal free markets. Neither were from the traditional camps with a history of positions on a wide range of subjects. It was as near to a referendum as you could get and Macron got a staggering 65%+.... Wilders didn't teach his target and great right hope missed the chance of becoming president in Austria. As people get used to seeing Trump and Brexit at work, the right wing renaissance is beginning to falter.., In Schleswig-Holstein the AfD only just scraped in .... the bubble for the AfD has burst...
I'm confused, why is Brexit automatically right wing/racist/fascist?
Austria and Netherlands
Well they did say all brexit voters are stupid and confused

Austria were a whisker away from having a far right leader, I would hardly call that a success. It more means delaying the inevitable sadly. Right wing leaders were getting no where before and now all across the EU they are everyone. Why?
Ha! 35% in a one or the other choice is a massive loss, there is no other way to gloss over that. The Front Nationale are the only party to lose by this margin since the post war years. The fact a pretty overt racist part is attracting 35% of votes not very long ?
Ha, pathetic. 'We won the war' is the argument of the idiot. What a little coward, this man owes his entire existence to the English voice, when his country surrendered, after not even 1 days worth of resistance to the Nazis during World War 2, it was the English who came and saved them, I bet the English language was important to his people then.
It isn't automatically, but there is a strong element of right wing involved. The extreme right will be in favour of it - doesn't mean everyone else who supports Brexit is far right or necessarily right wing. I never said that Brexit is automatically fascist. Trump's supporters include many right wingers and his policies are right wing ( I include trump and co. in the sense of a right wing renaissance ).
Are the communist party and the SWP right wing? Is Dave Nellist, is Jeremy Corbyn?
The rest of Europe isn't as obsessed either way with the EU. Staunch kippers have always seen it as the root of all evil for some genuine and some spurious reasons .If Le Pen doesn't get it today then that will be the 3rd election in a row where an anti-EU candidate has been defeated.
I wonder when the impending destruction of the EU that we were promised will happen?
It's a guardian article FFS. Might as well quote the Mail on asylum seekers

However, since the referendum, there is now a counter group to that view who seem to think the EU is brilliant without being to articulate why.

I assume testimony from the CPS and Electoral Commission aren't good enough for Grendel from SBT who's a world renowned expert on every fucking thing. Read the article mate. Tell me what you disagree with instead of denigrating the author.What evidence? Her articles have two themes;
Right wing organisations manipulate social media
The targeted audience are brain dead idiots that are incapable of independent thought and go along with it.
Her last attempt was the Holocaust.
