Initially I thought it was a tactical deficiency, that we struggled against overly defensive teams, however today's 'performance' is puzzling and doesn't fit the previous mindset.

Inconsistent is an understatement; it seems we cannot perform unless Jones feels like putting a shift in, or we have Duck to rely on for attacking impetus.

Very, very concerning...
Well that's a key point. When Jones plays well he gives us options and opens defences. When he is anonymous like he was today, we really struggle.

He will never change a game , he is actually not suited for this league , he is the sort of player that you bring on when your winning to hold the game up , he still has not scored in the league this year ,you will all be burning his bollocks soon and I will happily drag up your quotes stating how brilliant you thought he was. No excuses , not good enough , that's why at best he will be best looking at the bench every game until we get rid........... oh just like he is already.

you won't be able to pull up any quote from me saying he's brilliant because there aren't any you fucking cretin. Get your carer to read you post 417 to find out what I said about him and stop talking shite.

Go on then pep what would you do?

I tell you what the downfall of CCFC in part is the celebration of shite on the pitch , do you think the likes of Mick Ferguson or Dion Dublin, both big lumps of guys would have been afforded the amount of patience and time and love that Biamou gets ?

Send him on loan to the conference for a bit to get his mojo. Get an experienced striker who can lead the team , there are a few about Zavon Hines for instance. But he has to make way we cannot in division 4 afford mediocrity, but that loops back into the whole CCFC downfall at the start , too many now were not around when we played week in week out at the top of the league so accept shite as the norm. Feel sorry for those people.

Of all the performances today, I’m not sure why McNulty and Biamou are being picked out as two of the worst. I like them both, McNulty is quite a clever player with his movement but is never seen, while Biamou is raw but he wins everything in the air which is proof he can be a different option, the rest of the team just need to work out how to make the most of it.

Jones and Willis were awful today, the former has revered to the same player he was last year and the latter go bullied by strikers nowhere near his size.

The rest of the team were basically non-existent.

We all say the same thing every week; we have a distinct lack of creativity.

I still think we’ll go up, but the inconsistent performances need to stop.

LOTs of poor performances but McNulty a positive. Kelly has to play further up the pitch. I hate Grendel and others singling out players. Haynes was by no means the only player not to perform
Yes, some people (and you may have mentioned one) sit with their finger over the keyboard, waiting for certain players to have a poor game. Disappointing. As soon as we have a poor performance we start to name call, and criticise. Not very mature.

biamou has come from non-league so should be afforded more patience than supposed proven league 2 players who are performing worse than he is. It's not difficult to grasp.

So in short you’d get rid of players and think of the good old days. Great plan.

Ponticelli can’t hold the ball up it was the wrong game for him
Yes, he may be an excellent finisher, but I’m not sure at the moment what he gives us in terms of build up play. To be fair, he’s young and I’ve not seen much of him, but I wonder whether he’s going to be one of those strikers who scores goals and does little else. And that isn’t always enough.

Before this game we had the strongest 18 in the division. What happened in 90 minutes?

Tbf I said that and I would like to clarify;
We probably do have the strongest 18 but not the strongest 11. Think we will find the depth of our squad is very good. We just lack cutting edge.

he made their centre halves work when he came on and he's getting better.
Remember where he came from and give him time.
We've got 3 players supposedly proven at this level who are much more of a let down at the moment, McNulty, Beavon and Vicenti.
mcnulty is coming good

We didn't play badly today, just lacked a cutting edge. We should have had a penalty, scored a perfectly good goal and Mansfield should have had 2 sent off (for the sake of balance, Mansfield should have had a penalty too). Mansfield look a decent outfit, why they had to be constantly trying to cheat is beyond me, but that's a Steve Evans team for you. The referee was dreadful, we've had some pretty awful officiating in this division but I think he may well have topped the lot.

Frustrating defeat made even worse by the poor conduct of the visiting team.

If our team had done what you accuse Mansfield of doing we would have been applauding them.

As much as he might have made a difference had we appointed him last season, I still thank God we never appointed that bellend Evans as manager.

It didn't look like a ref to me. Was not that different to Rods yellow

There's no point moaning about their antics and Evans.

They deserved the win, it wasn't a Newport where they got a lucky goal. It was obvious for most of the 2nd half they were going to do something.

If we were 1-0 up and Doyle was being a bit of a dick to them I'd be loving it.

We were beaten by the better team. Too many of our players underperformed and some went missing for long periods. Yes the ref was poor; inconsistent, easily swayed by ‘professional’ antics and so unfit he was too far behind play.
They should have had a player sent off and both teams should have had a penalty. I felt Mansfield second half were happy for a point and changed their formation to go a little more defensive.

No I said send Biamou out on loan did I not ? Not sure where one player on loan = players but maybe i listened at school in maths or just twist my valid post in your response to try and make yourself look clever.. not. The good old days well er no those days were relegation filled fight outs but at least we felt like we achieved something. I think a major problem with this club is to accept any old shite, people creaming themselves when the likes of Joe Cole and Stephen Hunt arrived, I put it down to it must have worked on the computer Fifa game and that they believe it.

You asked me what i would do PEP and I gave you my answer, at least have the decency to actually respond properly and not like a 5 year old. Which anyone with a least a CSE grade 4 in home cooking would understand I did.

It would be a hell of a lot easier if we had a semi-clinical striker. That is going to make the difference between automatics and a play off lottery.

Right, you started with :
This is not good enough , we have been relegated from above , we should be dominating this league , there is still time but seems like the bollocks have been kicked out of the club. Remember we are in a rock bottom league and losing at home to a small town

When asked what you'd do differently your solution is simply to loan out a single player while also managing to fit in talk of school cooking classes and a not joke.

Very impressive.
