I am only clueless because either you don't understand it or are pissed off that countries want trade deals with us. Especially as one of your favourite lines has always been it will take many years to sort out anything.
But yeah countries all over the world want to have trade deals with us. We are getting invited to have talks. And it pissed you off each time you are proved wrong.

That’s exactly why he pulled out the trade deal you’re pissing yourself with excitement over. He can’t control the migration of US jobs to Vietnam without tariffs.
Well, I said there would be the ombudsman, then there is a period when the parties concerned have to study the ombudsman‘s recommendations. So, maybe there will be something. There was a rumour about him applying to be EU ambassador in London, which would take the heat off him.

Based on what? The EU only seems to want trade deals with Japan, Australia and Canada at this moment in time and have negotiated bespoke deals with Japan and Canada and are negotiating with Australia as individual entities. If they wanted anything more they’d be talking to the TPP not individual countries from within it.

So you did know about it all along like I said I thought you did.
So yes more rules and regulations ignored. Those involved in looking into the Selmayr fiasco not only keep their money for 3 years after leaving but cam put forward friends and family to get jobs bypassing the proper selection process and hard work that goes into it. Strange how it all happened at the same time as the investigations

Just checking and the EU already has a comprehensive FTA with Chile signed in 2003. Trade agreement with Singapore signed in 2010. Trade agreement with Malaysia signed in 2010. Trade agreement signed with Vietnam in 2012 new agreement in discussions now. Trade negotiations with New Zealand started this year. Comprehensive free trade agreement with Mexico in negotiations as we speak with many details agreed in April of this year. Comprehensive FTA with Peru signed in 2010.

And they’re all tailored to suit not the of the peg reject we’ve been offered. This invite to join the TPP seems more and more insulting everytime you look at it in detail.

They don’t need to join. They have the power to negotiate individually. The offer to join the TPP actually says we don’t. I don’t see why you’re not insulted by this offer when the EU gets treated with so much respect that they’re willing to talk trade deals with them as individual entities.

Spent five minutes looking and there’s literally no member of the TPP that the EU doesn’t have a trade deal with. From what I can see no member of TPP is on WTO with the EU and some have quite comprehensive FTA with the EU. Bit of an own goal from astute.

I hope the EU does well after we leave. I don't have an axe to grind. It isn't the fault of the people of the EU countries on the way the EU is run.
Whereas some on here seem to be hoping that the UK only does One thing after leaving. Crash and burn. This TPP thing seems to prove it.

Given you thought that the TPP was full of countries that the EU would love to deal with and it turns out that they are already then there doesn’t seem to be an issue with making a deal with the EU.
We also wouldn’t be making a single trade deal. We would be joining a trading block. There is no deal it’s no different than joining the EU. The terms are the terms. Not nearly the same thing. You’re inability to understand that is nothing short of staggering.

All you’ve said is that the EU would love to do deals with the countries in it. I looked, they have. Australia is the only one that hasn’t reached an agreement with the EU and that’s in discussion, when I say discussion I don’t mean the Australian PM has made a comment in an interview with a newspaper to the effect that they’d like to do a deal. I mean actual discussions and negotiations. You’re answer crashed and burned because it was a flippant comment with no understanding behind it. Five minutes on google would have prevented you from making that claim.

Ha ha. And as for residents from those countries have you ever been to London. You can’t move for Aussies and New Zealander’s. Vietnamese won’t need to come here, we’ll send the jobs to them.
