Surely you aren’t being serious here?I think the difference is though the people that follow the tories on the whole aren't plastering their bullshit opinions all over social media .

I think Labour lost the working class in the last election because of Brexit.
Partly because of Corbyn, but mostly because of Brexit.
Actually I don't think that's why they lost the working class, I know it is. It's pretty indisputable.
Brexit was a huge issue for the working class and the Tories was obviously the choice for anyone who wanted Brexit.
Of course they are now being utterly shafted by leaving the EU, but that's a different conversation.

The older someone is the more likely they are to vote Tory.
The further into education someone goes the more likely they are to vote Labour.
Dress it up how you like, they are facts.
Labour needs to spilt. And then one of the 2 parts can merge with the Lib Dems.
I agree that Brexit was a big factor in the 2019 election. For most people, myself included, Brexit is over now... we move on. It may not seem like that, if you are one of the minority who cannot let go, but I think it's true for most of people we are discussing.
So why are they continuing to lose votes in 2021? That's the question.
No - social media is split generally, with different age categories occupying different platforms. So while your younger voters are more likely to use Instagram for example, the older voters are far more concentrated on Facebook.Ofcourse I am , social media on the whole is very much dominated by younger people .
Younger people mostly vote for Labour.
Labour supporters mostly spewing their opinions on social media ...pretty straightforward
You are not really answering my question
Is 39 old?
Why given the fact age means increased likelihood of voting Tory is that? Also what the correlation between the two subjects?
More importantly does a better education make you more qualified to lead the country - if not it’s just an irrelevance to sneer at isn’t it?
I'm not sure what your point is.
You said those two points are fallacies.
They're not.
This isn't really trueNo - social media is split generally, with different age categories occupying different platforms. So while your younger voters are more likely to use Instagram for example, the older voters are far more concentrated on Facebook.
Same stuff happens on both platforms. Twitter is a bit of a microcosm of the both, and doesn’t really give you an overall picture of social media as a whole.
That’s a tough one. I think personally it’s down to a combination of the current government being pretty untouchable at the moment for delivering Brexit (if only in name) and also an excellent vaccination drive. But I also think it’s because Labour don’t appear to stand for anything currently. You say about the Islington voter not being the same as the Hartlepool one, and I agree, but neither one really knows now what Labour is about. They’ve missed opportunities over things like NHS staff pay by not being more vocal and in opposition to the paltry government offer.I agree that Brexit was a big factor in the 2019 election. The older ones on Facebook are much more likely to believe bullshit. I've had to unfollow most of my older relatives cos I'm fed up of seeing the ridiculous shite they share/comment on.This isn't really true
The largest demographic on all social media platforms is pretty much 25 -34
The vast majority of social media use is people below the age of 50 .
Most tory voters are (in our own words ) older .
There will be less conservative voters on social media discussing politics .
Twitter itself is basically an echo chamber of activism .
Most young people use Snapchat, tik tok ....again all can be used and are to push political nonsense.

Facebook is absolutely full of right leaning 50+ year olds now
The younger generations are moving away from Facebook and its very much the social media platform of choice for the boomers and they believe literally anything they reach on Facebook.
My point is at 39 you are more likely to vote Tory than Labour
My point on education is essentially it’s the same correlation as young people are more likely to have attended university
A lot of young people in this category then allied themselves by their own definition to a leader of a party who is thick as fuck and thought he’d be able to leafs the country
It may not seem like that, if you are one of the minority who cannot let go,
Brexit is not over though is it. Far from it. Its an absolute cluster fuck that is destroying trade and businesses.
There are twice as many Facebook users in the UK than Twitter... but somehow it’s the smaller platform creating all the issuesThis isn't really true

You just don't seem to like people very much.

Stating that more and more older people are using Facebook means I don't like people?
This is also the biggest cohort of the population... just for context.Just rubbish isn’t it?

If you said exactly that ...then sure .
But you didn't
You just don't seem to like people very much.
You saying it's not true?Ah those thick old people - odd they weren’t taken in by the vaccine scares

That's fair enough. It's my problem that I let that stuff annoy me so it's the simplest solution to eradicate it.You do you .
I'm not really one who unfollows people because they waffle a bit

He called Britain "this shit-hole of a country" earlier whilst he was telling me how dumb I am. It's a shame he deleted it.
