No - social media is split generally, with different age categories occupying different platforms. So while your younger voters are more likely to use Instagram for example, the older voters are far more concentrated on Facebook.

Same stuff happens on both platforms. Twitter is a bit of a microcosm of the both,and doesn’t really give you an overall picture of social media as a whole.

I agree that Brexit was a big factor in the 2019 election. For most people, myself included, Brexit is over now... we move on. It may not seem like that, if you are one of the minority who cannot let go, but I think it's true for most of people we are discussing.

So why are they continuing to lose votes in 2021? That's the question.

That’s a tough one. I think personally it’s down to a combination of the current government being pretty untouchable at the moment for delivering Brexit (if only in name) and also an excellent vaccination drive. But I also think it’s because Labour don’t appear to stand for anything currently. You say about the Islington voter not being the same as the Hartlepool one, and I agree, but neither one really knows now what Labour is about. They’ve missed opportunities over things like NHS staff pay by not being more vocal and in opposition to the paltry government offer.
Labour are losing voters in the 25-39 age bracket currently according to YouGov. Why this is I don’t know.... it can’t be attributed to Corbyn as there were literally the people that voted for him that have now turned away.

That is true. However the second point does not imply that more intelligent people vote Labour... indeed it's almost the same point as the first. This is why: In the 1950s, circa 3% of people had access to higher education. That had only risen to 10% by the 80s. These are your older, Tory-voters.

In the 90s, on the back of Blair's changes and student loans, that rose steeply to over 50% in 2020. These are the young Labour voters. They are not more intelligent than the older voters, they have just had more opportunities to study. Moreover, of that 50%, a large proportion are studying vocational courses - because the traditional academic subjects would be beyond them.

EDIT: On the first point. This age-voting intention curve has been the same for decades. It's the same people voting Labour in their 20s who later vote Tory.
