Is that Witchell again? I’ve just got home and turned on the TV. He’s talking absolutely inane bollocks

Royal watcher/correspondent has to be the most utterly pointless profession and you need to be an absolute vacuous waste of space with no self respect to do it, (obviously he ticks all the boxes).

Id do it if it paid as much as the bloke who we keep seeing in Moscow every night - I’d choose those royals

They were just picking out the emotions of Prince Andrew in a car for ages. As the newscasters cycle through the same things, I'm feeling increasingly sorry for the sign language lady, as she is just pretty much having to repeat the same things over and over again. You can't describe things in sign language in as many different ways as the English language, so it really is just a repetition exercise.

What's sign language for nonce?

Football wise, there's been no official comms from the EFL (as she's not passed away) but I've spoken to a few of the clubs we work with today, including Cov.

The general feeling is that the only games that would get postponed would be on the 10th day after her death which would be her burial date. If that 10th day falls on a Sunday, the Monday will count as the 10th day.

What are people hoping to see stood outside Buckingham palace?

Are you too young to remember the Diana death and all that went with it? It’s going to go on for days. The only relief now is that you have streaming channels. Everything will be sombre for days

The football on the Sunday definitely got cancelled, though I'm sure it wasn't as packed a schedule as we have nowadays

Also the mountains of flowers, the peoples princess and the whole media tone was just forced grief

Witchell is now commenting on the look on the Wessexes somber looks. No wonder he is not liked by many.

Not to see something as such, presumably it’s to get into a good position to be caught on camera weeping, when the inevitable is finally announced.

The sentimentalists are already out in force, it seems. BBC is just literally filling airtime for the sake of it at the minute…unless they’re building up to the bombshell.
