Whos Joe Edwards?
Ex millwall manager
Whos Joe Edwards?
Was at Millwall and got sacked after about 10 games I thinkWhos Joe Edwards?
Whos Joe Edwards?
Those failures do not count, they have been officially expunged from record. Why?
Was part of Lampards failures at Chelsea and Everton but part of the staff that won the Champions League in between those appointments.
I'm not saying it's not good, just be interesting to hear why you're pleased with it.

Asst to FL at Chelsea and Everton, managed Millwall for a short period.Whos Joe Edwards?
I had a great number 2 earlier after a BK yesterday. I also got paid for having it.Very highly regarded. Worked with Chelsea and England youth teams.
A bit like Carsley I guess. About as good a number 2 as we could expect I reckon.
Based on 0 evidence before Lampards even managed a gameI hate to say it but if Lampard leaves in two years, could Joe be the long term succession plan?
I mean if it’s a two year contract he won’t be here forever right? Plus I think Lampard will do wellBased on 0 evidence before Lampards even managed a game
Managers very rarely see out their contract. Almost always they’re being sacked midway through, or they’re a success and they’re signing extensions until it goes wrong and they’re sacked!I hate to say it but if Lampard leaves in two years, could Joe be the long term succession plan?
quoting wikipedia, seems very harsh to sack him.Was at Millwall and got sacked after about 10 games I think
yea surely its 2.5 years in reality2 year deal seems odd. Surely for stability it needs to be this season plus two years as a minimum. I know it means a bigger pay off if it's wrong, but who sets out like that? We'll presumably back him in the window and after Robins and Adi got 4 year deals it seems low.

Aled might remain but I can guarantee he won’t be in charge of defence training anymoreCoaching reshuffle with two moving back down to the youth setup and a few senior coaches in to replace them. Boateng and Carr to remain, unfortunately Williams too but what can you do…

Based on what? He's part of the new set up that people have consistently bemoaned. Stepped into the breach but played three, won none and conceded 2 in every match. Whilst I'm not saying it's his fault, I've seen nothing to convince me that he should or shouldnt stay.I think we all agree Rhys Carr deserves to stay as part of the coaching setup. Not really arsed about anyone else, especially if we bring better in as part of the new manager appointment
You know what, I tried that same defence in my divorce hearing. Those failures do not count, they have been officially expunged from record.
Financial reasons is my thinking. I can’t see these appointments coming cheap.Given King's comments about the quality of the coaching staff if Boateng remains then that would be a very peculiar decision.
Agree, but I'd like to think that he at the very least costed out that when he made the decision to remove MR and that it wasnt as kneejerk as it might have appeared. Whilst not a football man, he is a businessman, but who knows.Financial reasons is my thinking. I can’t see these appointments coming cheap.
The costs of getting this wrong outweigh the costs of putting the right people in which is how I hope he sees it.Agree, but I'd like to think that he at the very least costed out that when he made the decision to remove MR and that it wasnt as kneejerk as it might have appeared. Now all attention turns to what coaches he can bring, if we got Clements and cole I’d be buzzing, would take morris though
"Top Fan"Why are some people such over dramatic arseholes?

not even trying to be facetious here, but how do we even know it was carr that was the brains behind the last 3 games?I think we all agree Rhys Carr deserves to stay as part of the coaching setup. Assistant?
You sure he doesn't want the top job?
