Lampard has been excellent imo.
I didn't want MR to go, but I can't really fault what FL has done with the "deck" he inherited.

He's had to change the formation due to injuries to some of our best players, and he's changed the defence that was concerning 2 goals every game.

So far he's been a big plus, hopefully that will continue because to be honest he's kept our season alive.
Exactly

But losing weight sheaf and emc isn't a test to some

Sorting out defence frailties wasn't a test apparently

But Leeds...Leeds is the test!

Unless we win.

Early doors I said Lampard hadn’t moved the needle with the players. It’s clear now that he and his coaching team just needed some time. Really seeing some vast improvements in individuals and as a team.

The f’kin tastiest humble pie I’ve ever eaten

Regardless of what happens on the pitch going forward, Lampard has already done one very important thing.

We all know the anger that existed around Robins' sacking. That had the potential to completely split the fanbase, and also cause a massive rift between the fans, club, and players. Sacking a manager after nearly 8 years in charge has consequences.

Lampard has, IMO, brilliantly took the sting out of that sacking. So whatever happens in the future, whoever takes over from Lampard (whenever that may be), will not have the burden of constantly being compared to Mark Robins

Bizarrely Lampard has gone under the radar the turn around he’s managed from this squad.

You know, I like it and this momentum we have now is giving me vibes that we’re on the cusp of something special.

Are we in to the ‘Robins would have turned it round by now anyway’ phase yet?
Would you rather be arguing over whether we'd be in the relegation zone if MR had stayed?

Honestly, if it ain't the fans arguing amongst themselves over how shit we are, it's the fans arguing over how good we are.

Give it up ffs and just enjoy the ride.
