You could've bought CR7 and prime Roberto Carlos today and would've had little difference. At 0-0 though rather than 3-1 it's a different story. This far in to the season you HAVE to start your strongest possible 11. Granted we're scraping the barrel with injuries, but Sheaf on the bench and Bidders instead of current JDS is NOT your strongest 11. Regardless who you're playing. It's not like we're a Chelsea or Man City and have got the squad to rest 8 for a nothing cup game. Our strongest 11 this season are average at best at times.

Glaring error from FL today with those two omissions I thought.

We need a totally different approach to the game if we play them.
we need to do to them what Plymouth did to us today.
They lost their next 3 games after they beat us and all the teams that beat them sat deep and conceded possesion.

We won't Lampard can't adapt.

I said if we performed we’d win. That hypothesis wasn’t tested today.
I disagree. I said the way they would play. I named the 2 players that would cause us problems. Those 2 players scored 3 goals.

You tried to make out their record of only losing 4 of their last 11 league home games wasn't good even though they also beat Liverpool in this run.

Fuck me. I called the Labour Party out for what I thought they would do if they came into power. Everything I said has happened. I changed my user name because of my seriously bad mental health issues. I wasn't intending to post ever again on here but I'm sorry I must reply to bullshit. Today's bullshit was Plymouth are shite at home. The Labour Party support were out in force against me today.

Today again sums up the Championship and why there are no easy games…..

From where we were in early December, I recall folk talking about targeting mid table and building for next season - doubt anyone was talking PO’s let alone being 3pts ahead of the pack with 2 games to go - unbelievable effort from everyone at, and associated with, the club.

We were poor at SU, Derby and today but have played and/or battled well in all other recent games. I didn’t hear many complaints after Fridays game.

Two games to go - a few days to reset minds, get energy levels up and work on the plan to get something at Luton.

Enjoy it I say, Keep the faith.

Collins dreadful,
Bidwell , liability
Lati , liability
Saka, non existent
Simms, clumsy and too soft
Wright, half arsed
Allen, looked like a schoolboy
Thats too many players not competing in an important game.
If Luton put a physical team out, they will fold again. More likely to play better against a better footballing side like Boro.

Pretty much spot on

Relax dude. If you called it then fair play to you.

But they are bottom for a reason, and even though they are fighting for their lives we should of had too much ability on the ball for them.

On the day they out muscled us, and we looked more fatigued than them, and we gave them 2 goals with our keeper getting done twice in 3 minutes at his near post!

Good luck to them, you have to give them credit for their fighting spirit.
But we now know what to expect at Luton, they will be the same, so we have no excuses.

He's shown hes adaptable this season when he went 5-3-2.
And he's done it in games, even today, but it was too little too late.
But he needs to do something different from the start Saturday and in the plays offs against the 3rd place team should we get that far
My worry is when we have come up against supposedly 'lesser' teams away from home, that have a very clear identity of how they play, we have completely failed to adapt to it. Portsmouth, Derby & today we will have known in advance exactly what they would attempt to do & yet we have completely played into their hands.

You tried to make out they were not very good at home. You even said Rooney was better than their present manager. Would you like me to bring up any of your previous posts on this thread?

Would you like me to bring up what you said about Sheffield Wednesday?

No. I pointed out that before today they’d lost as many as they’d won at home since January and their PPG with Rooney was essentially the same (0.1 better) at home as it has been with the new man. Those are facts.

As we rolled over for them today the facts have changed. A man who should have been sent off scores two and Brad Collins reverts to type. It is what it is.

The reality is he’s had to make do with a lot of rubbish that has been signed - he’s also bought a lot more out of certain players.

It’s astonishing we are where we are given how bad we were under Robins
