    Bobby Gould

We need to stop living in the past. Jimmy Hill, Bobby Gould, John Sillett are all yesterdays men and cannot help us. It is so tiring to see calls for past managers to return. Times have changed, and they are not driven in the way they were when they were good for us.

Yes. Three or four odd decisions, but on the whole reasonable.

    The Stone Roses

I loved them, but they were of their time. Come back = kill the legacy.

    Atmosphere

Can someone explain the comments about Jesus? Is this a person, or is it a chant? (presumably it's not the messiah based on our run of form) I sit in Block 30 so it doesn't mean anything to me.

Letter from SISU to the fans

Ok lets have a whip round on the forum and see if we can raise £30m to keep the club running for a while. I'll start with £20. Next?

Letter from SISU to the fans

If SISU brought in Mourinho as manager, and had signed Ronaldo, Rooney and John Terry yesterday there would still be people saying that it was just a stunt to try and keep us happy for a few weeks before we were sucked into the abyss. CUFFS!

    Sisu In

There is no other option for us, sadly. Hoffman appears to be a man of straw (would be happy if he wasn't). Mike Ashley is still trying to sell Newcastle, and they would be a far more attractive investment than us.

    SISU Irrationality

I am with OldSkyBlue58 on this. SISU didn't "get us into this mess". The club was dissolving into chaos under McGinnity etc, and the sale of Highfield Rd and lack of ownership of the Ricoh mean that there is no financial underpinning to anything that the club do. SISU came in and kept an...

    Tippy Tappy football without MK9.

Lets just hold onto the ball at the edge of our own penalty area, then. No point going forward according to some of you. AB failed because of his immensely predictable long ball game that all other teams learnt by quarter way through the season. When AT took over he mixed it up and we had...

    My Thoughts From Today

I am not understanding the good press for Hussey, who despite ending last season looking pretty useful, I thought was hopeless today. Yes, he put a few decent crosses in (3 I think) but apart from that was stationary on the ball, and 95% of the time passed backwards whether there was an...

CET stand less than half full

I sit in Block 30 in the CET and it was busier than usual around us, but thinned out as the misery of the second half settled in. The Tesco stand looked empty from where I was sitting. CET was in good voice early on, but it all just faded away, a little like the game itself. Fair play to...

Still don't get Twitter. Can someone convince me (in 140 characters or less)?

    another miscommunication

This is one of SISU's better communications. At least we know there is some funding from somewhere. I have spent most of the last few months expecting admin before the start of the season!!!!
