It wouldn't surprise me if Boris is wheeled out to announce the latest nationwide lockdown tomorrow. The backlog of death registrations will start showing in the figures later on today and I think those numbers over the next couple of days are going to be shocking.

The current death count trend is something that seems to be bucking the experts opinion - that there's a 2 or 3 week lag between cases and deaths. 3 weeks ago were about to leave lockdown and cases were half what we are now...

Cases started going up in London before the end of the last lockdown. Mostly driven by this new strain. Not good. I suppose after yesterday's evacuation of London we will soon find out how quickly it can spread.
